I've never hated SL as a song but my god the video is atrocious. If you used AI to create a lady gaga video it would give you something like that. It's like she was performing as a caricature of herself and I'm so happy that era of her career is over. I could say more but I don't want to offend those who live on planet chromatica :suburban:

The SL music video was a rushed mess. I see the concept they were going for, but what a disaster

The other night I was high watching the Disease mv and it was giving me old Gaga mv vibes. It's so good

the record and era was entirely ruined by the people she was hanging around with

bloodpop ruined the album and that cheap crew working on SL's video was really a chop

 :jonny5:

i really wish we could hear the album drafts with boys noize and sophie -  it gave us good demos

I like Stupid Love's pre chorus way more than Disease's

but just... no. I don't get it ! it's so milquetoast compared to pretty much all of her other songs (other than uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh whatchamacallit. OH! I forget jk. wait (

Stupid Love is just weak compared to all of her other leads idk how to fully explain it

and I don't even think Born This Way or Perfect Illusion are GREAT songs, but they still hit. and I won't deny that BTW is iconic just for being itself. Just Dance, Bad Romance, Applause, and Disease are all f*cking amazing pop songs

wait I'm so glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like The Queen :tornado: I remember people always defending it back in the day! it's just excessively cheesy and the production irks me for some reason. at least the pre-chorus is ALMOST cute ohwow.png

Applause has aged so well. It has really became a classic Gaga hit. We just need an ARTPOP song to go viral and make the album relevant again

It sucks that R. Kelly has writing credits on the solo version of the DWUW. That song being fully deleted really hurts AP

Bridge/Outro is a highlight tho so it's automatically not in her bottom 5 or even 10. Several tracks from debut and artpop are just downright atrocious from beginning to end

I would've loved to have 2 #1 singles but TEOG couldn't do it.

Yeah I genuinely think she was in a mental place where she couldn't actually put in the passion for her work, so she relied on the people around her to come up with material and well.... :cm:

At least this time around she's mentally in a great space and the music sounds incredible. She just needs to remember she has an album coming out next month ooop

Songs that aged well for me: Judas (might be my favorite song these days and my most played of 2025 aside from DWAS), Applause (never gets old), So Happy I Could Die (wasn't a huge fan when released but it's a bop)

Songs that didn't: Monster (one of my faves when it was released but just good now), Stupid Love (a cute bop but I never voluntarily play it, if it comes on in the club it's aiiight)

Disease is a grower and a show-er though…underappreciated song :clap3:

Winds are slowing down significantly in LA, so hopefully Gaga and her loved ones are safe and the entire community gets relief soon.

If the bridge & outro were a separate song then it wouldn't even be a conversation. But the first upbeat half is SO. BAD. And not in a redeemable way. I can't think of any Gar songs I like less so that's why it's in my bottom 5. Maybe Money Honey but at least that one's fun

PFFFFF I wouldn't say SEVERAL from debut are atrocious! Money Honey ain't good, and Starstruck is incredibly dated, but otherwise the album is a pop masterclass imo ohwow.png
