For me anyway, it's not to drive a discussion on how fickle her work/career is or how her team feel about that. I think as fans we all have the upmost respect for her work otherwise we wouldn't be here counting down everyday - there's always jabs in here about certain songs and albums but it's obviously mostly in jest and she has the #1 song in the US right now so her constitution in pop music isn't a dangling question mark. But there's always business elements to the decisions she and her team make. Let's say for example, the planned release is Feb 14th and they plan to announce next Tuesday and that was always the plan. I'm not going to be any less excited about her releasing because Beyoncé decided to announce on the same day and Taylor is releasing on the same day/tracking week. I'd say it might be a shame to see either or both of those things be overshadowed, but you can feel that way while still being excited for what's coming.

I think it's going to be the 28th, just as it was the last possible October date for Disease. Don't forget Kendrick's vinyls were re-scheduled for feb. 7, to match with his performance at the SB. I doubt Lisa is competition for Gaga in the U.S. but I might be wrong.
