Disease surpassed mega jazz smash Happy Mistake in overall streams

:suburban:

Yet Happy Bomb is still on Pop Rising. Spotify really loves her these days!

Gar's actual boatmate :date:

Maybe that's why some people here are desperate to have their fave be seen as boatmates with Gaga  :heart2:

OT: Love stanning an insanely talented 13x Grammy winner!

Top 10 in UK and Top 20 in US would be a solid start. Especially given what was expected in early days.

:giraffe:

Although T10 in US would've happened with an earlier video and some physicals, just saying. :eli:

I hope we continue to get more stills since there are so many looks in the video that I need to see in more detail.

COLLAPSE

Can she or her intern like post these on Insta sporadically with Disease linked to play? What's the point of having them rot on a hard drive when they could be drumming up engagement… So boomer coded :deadbanana2:

Oh CLOCK it

didn't his lead also do similar numbers too and miss the Top 10 on Hot 100? even with the most monthly listeners of all time? and his big hit this era so far has been a collab with another major artist? really his last few big hits have all been smash collabs?:suburban:

i love Abel btw and i'm not saying their careers are directly comparable in the 2020s, but it's just weird how some of these drags only seem to apply to Gaga these days lmao.

I've always found the similarity in their commercial hits and misfires lately to be amusing. I noticed it even before ATRL began the narrative since they've also done very similar promo tracks — Fortnite, HBO concert special, etc.

If they release physicals this week then I take everything back of what I said to Bobby

Disease's stability is proving there is still massive interest in a solo Gaga pop song.

Sure it's not destroying the charts, but it would've fallen out of the top 200 on Spotify/AM by now.

which is even more impressive given that disease is the furthest thing from "trendy" and not exactly super GP/radio friendly.

I think her team should try releasing a second single in January, if it flops terribly they can rebound with a 3rd single in February with the album release. Might as well go for as many swings as possible, you never know what will blow up these days and so many artists that are huge on streaming have a "throw a bunch of songs at the wall and see what sticks" mentality.

also it would be fun for us fans to have an era with 3-4 fully fledged singles again

Anyone who makes a pointless irrelevant thread like that should be banned for contributing to the collapse of the server :mazen:

We all know why… they just hate Liddos.  :alexz2:

For most pop stars, it's always just about making songs that make noise among and stick with the GP (unless you're Taylor or the "it" pop star of the moment).

LG7 has an almost identical rollout to Thank U Next timeline wise

lead single:

Thank U, Next - November 3rd

Disease - October 25th

album:

Thank U, Next - February 8th

LG 7 - February

Ariana released the 2nd single, 7 rings (to huge success) on January 18th. I would love it if LG7 does the same!

she also dropped the third single & video "break up with your girlfriend" on album release day, pleeeease!

I rarely step out of Base because I'm not into stanwarring. But I will be DAMNED if I'd let Katy Perry stans use the online diaries of literal school shooters to be as credible news sources, just because Gaga is catching a stray in them and leave it unchecked.
