SweetOreosOfHeaven Posted April 24 Share Posted April 24 The actual reason Billie is doing the no-single stunt is because her latest era got bad PR due to the singles. They all tanked/caused controversy among her fans (for dumbass reasons like her hair colour) and made people lose hype over the album. Then it came out and still did incredibly well but the song that left a lasting impression (title-track) was dropped alongside it. So they probably figured this time it would be better to do no-singles. I think it's a good choice. With Gaga it's completely different- it's good to get the word out that there's an album coming for more casual listeners that don't follow her closely.
