unclefloprry Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 tbh I don't understand why people expect and want a change of sound in Dua's music. where is that energy with Taylor, Billie, Olivia, Lana, Camila, Selena and more artists? If something works, I don't know why change it, but... whatever. 1 4

I don't really listen to any of the other artists you named primarily because their catalog sounds repetitive and derivative. 1
ATRL Moderator khalyan Posted November 2, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted November 2, 2023 Anyway, I'm not trying to be pessimistic - I'm anxiously awaiting the release next week and I'm very hopeful it'll meet any and all expectations we have for her!

We all know Dua will always make synthpop, like that’s never gonna change However we went from indie synthpop and troppop to discopop which was a ‘departure’ in Dua’s landscape, and we’re hoping for the same thing now Anyway she’s already said the new album won’t be disco so we’re getting it

Relampago. Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 Lmao I was right about the song sounding like Sacrifice by The Weeknd This is perfect though. Dawn FM was an amazing album and Dua would slay that sound. We’re 100% winning girls. Her Take My Breath is coming.
