Personally, I just didn’t want to see The Weeknd myself. But I CAN see the strategy behind it. He has a more dedicated fanbase than Doja. And at the time of planning the tour, Doja’s stardom wasn’t as solidified as it is NOW. He definitely had more hits than her + just came off of the most successful song in H100 history Of course, we the fans, knew “Say So” wasn’t a fluke. But I do believe IYE and YR were done to try to benefit Doja. Turns out she didn’t need it tho.
