"Break My Soul" (#5) now out-peaks "Drunk in Love" (#6) on radio (though with substantially less audience). This is her highest radio audience as a lead artist since 2013, passing "Sorry" which had a radio audience peak of 59.16M. :clap3:

They wont go below 80. Everyone and their mommas gets 80 nowadays. They womt dare.

Honestly I don't care so much about reviews because the girl had 92/85/98 since 2013, so yeah she already had her peak in acclaim.

How strong must the radio be to secure #1?  :gaycat5:

The way BMS is clearly the GP-friendliest song on Renaissance seeing how pretty much everything else is explicit. Phew, shes gonna turn the motherfucking heat UP

Since I don’t pay much attention to other artists on the charts can someone let me know if a video would matter at this point for BMS? With  the short attention span the GP have, will the video be enough to secure a #1? Has an artist gone 4 weeks without an music video for a single and it make a difference?

Refresh my memory ??

I hope it’s genre bending again and pisses off more people.

The MV wouldnt add too many points per se, but it could result in virability which would then in turn increase its streams again.

Beyoncé innovating again. Making a comeback where she actually doesn't come back

I saw the above comment on Pop Justice and I screamed in horror

A mv this late won’t do much, maybe a small boost.

Just read this thread and it was a ride, I normally don't pay much attention but this one reply just TOOK ME OUT :ahh:

Not Beyoncé having no passion and putting on a worse performance than freaking lady ga ga because she doesn't 'make funny faces, no weird moves' ashdjdlaldkdjauqkal

A music video would increase the presence of the song, and hopefully offer viral moments.  If she has a sick dance break, it could cause people to try and recreate.

Beyonce videos are always a big deal

Yeah this song would be so much bigger right now had she performed at the BET and had a music video out like teo weeks after the song release

Missed opportunity but w/e

RELEASE YOUR FRUSTRATION it does you no good

I started to type something in regards to what a video would do for a song, and I-

None of us know wtf we're talking about cause we don't know wtf is happening.

Same, but look, that's asking for a miracle :rip:

Idk how y’all can say it’s a missed opportunity just 4 weeks out from the song as if Formation didn’t go Top 10 after 3 months of being available for FREE + a music video already released.  :gaycat6:

Once she releases a video, basically the MILLIONS of people who peruse YT everyday and didn’t know Beyoncé had released a song will now know. :gaycattel:

ya i think that what BMS is doing rn is proving Beyoncé's commercial viability with basically the least amount of promo. The song has been Top Ten for 3 consecutive weeks now, and over the course of those 3 weeks all its had for promo was an album cover post, right?

i know we want MORE for it, but the success its already have relative to the least she's done is still rather impressive and speaks to a chart stat that is still quite positive for her.

the fact that for the last 6 years ATRL SWORE Beyoncé had no selling power, could not get a solo hit if she tried, relies on others for Top Tens, etc., etc., is actually so hiliarious because the minute she actually releases a lead single in a rather normal way, that is proven wrong.

We’re just 9.5 days away from listening to the album and at this point I don’t really care if she gives us something before that or not, I’m just really excited about the release. She usually comes harder the more silent she is, and something about this album brings me back to the Self Titled era.
