Wym? She basically invented going viral on YT with SL and she was a pioneer on insta like in the top 5 most followed until recently. All those cringy posts from the early ‘10s with her questionable outfits and at music festivals or eating vegan foods only made us love her more. 
 

Tik Tok is more than “silly” challenges. It’s a whole marketing platform. Like, if Mariah Carey can get her diva ass on there to expand her reach, i don’t see why Bey can’t. It’s not like Mimi is doing the Savage dance (tho Beyonce should for her own benefit ), she’s out there doing whistle notes and showing the new generation what SHE does best. 
 

Bey could be posting riff content or rehearsals or behind the scenes (like just move to tik tok what she was supposed to give to Tidal), etc. THAT’S how you interact with fans, not fan compilations. Like, no one’s telling her to show off the twins. But she could feed us musical/artistic content.

And what do you think her TikTok post is about? MARKETING. SL going viral on YT and her being the most followed on IG is all by happenstance. Not contrived & orchestrated content to create virality. Mariah is not a good example to compare...she's always been outgoing & Beyonce is not - we all know this.

 

Ya'll can't go from saying "she needs to acknowledge her fans" and then bemoan her acknowledging her fans. It doesn't make sense.

I’ll be honest, I literally do not care if she acknowledges her fans one bit. Those little shout out at award shows are enough for me. 
 

I just want to consume what SHE creates cause I love her creativity, her vision, and the flawless execution. So if all we get are Zach Campbell’s tired freak out videos on her page, it’s gonna be a quick unfollow from me. 
 

Wishing her the best on this new social media endeavor tho. Let’s see where this journey leads us.

Never did I think I would be that gorl.

 

I’ve pretty much always defended her entire approach since putting Lemonade as a Tidal exclusive. Even tried to convince the girlies that Formation as an unlisted video was a GOOD thing because it could be used as evidence to haterz that she wasn’t exploiting black pain for the profit or chart positions. 
 

But this… posting AMATEUR content to her official pages? That’s where I draw the line. I DON’T CARE what lil dances Suzy Mae, Sally Jo, and their little friends get down to on the weekends. You're doing way too much. Bey being on Tiktok and posting some minor content here and there is better than her not doing anything at all, and its certainly not degrading her brand. She could go all in but again, lets deal with reality... She could be doing a lot now that she isn't
