BUT It's essentially a certainty that there is an avalanche of ish coming. I'd put bets on some stuff being so epic that we could have never anticipated. I also think they have to stretch the anticipation. Had we got all the covers at once or the alternate covers close to the real cover, I truly think some stuff would cannibalise. She's event-izing every moment. Big or small. Not dropping the video alongside the song was a choice, but I am convinced they want to maximize her first week SPS considering that video views now count towards album sales. On this particular point, we can't have our cake and eat it too (well, we can, but I digress). I'm sure her team have all the data and if it makes most sense to use the video for album sales (which alongside touring is her ever and always end-goal) then I'm for it. Especially with the song still doing well and sitting nicely in the top 10. I know I'd much rather the album does well than fret and complain about a song that's already a certified top 10 and one that's likely to dominate even more over the summer. IMO, here's what's likely to happen: * Like others have said, they will probably condense the remaining reveals into a short space of time. Similar to that big burst in the run-up to the album announcement, the announcement itself, and the BMS launch. All happened within a week. * BMS video will drop anytime between now and day of release. It will continue to be the vehicle song that drives the album (probably the only standalone video for a minute) until the numbers dictate the next song to focus on. * There will absolutely be a Netflix something to tie-in with the album. Expecting the trailer any moment. * I'm anticipating something experiential. Could be the pop-ups, could be something else. * Wouldn't be far-fetched of her to do live-streamed one-off shows much like Harry and Adele. It's the one area I could see Tidal creeping in (and hope it doesn't). Either go with a TV network, Netflix, or something buzzy and in like TikTok. To some, it may all read like conjecture. But it's all totally plausible and exciting to me. Which is why I will never get the doom and gloom about not having BMS video (yet) or that there's no announcements (yet) when there are so many great possibilities just a few weeks away. Well said

The sturgeon moon on the night of Aug. 11 will be the final supermoon in this year's set of four." Film coming August 11

carameldelight Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 This is why some of us knew this bs was going to happen. The minute the video didn’t come out after the first week, I got nervous. Ugh we can never just have a seamless rollout

SashaDevachelli Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 We’re back to tracking the moon? That bad huh
Walley Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 I would understand if we got the album and got no video or promo, but y’all don’t have the slightest inclination of how Bey is tackling this era. We will find out when the time comes and it will be either amazing and surprising, or lackluster. Wait until then to write your thinkpieces and just enjoy the new single for now. Y’all are giving psychosis.

I haven't done this yet so let me let psychosis and this post work bowl ?drive me today and I'm including the Gift Deluxe 1. BEYONCÉ - a groundbreaking and essential project for Beyonce. The music is some of her most experimental and dark to date. The songs are just such a next level evolution after a really mature and classic sounding project like 4. 9.5/10. 2. B'Day - every single track is fueled with an almost unbelievable level of energy all driven by natural instrumentation and Beyoncé's insane voice. Get me bodied indeed 9.25/10 3. Dangerously in love - a truly timeless album and one of the first cds i ever bought . I remmeber being initially disappointed at the mid-slow tempo heavy tracklist but i feel like this album is incredibly consistent and some of the best and riskiest R&B projects (an entire album of slow jams during the In Da Club era of popular music??) of its time. I only really dislike that's how you like it. I even love Daddy ??9.25/10 4. Lemonade - I feel like this her first album to really prioritize storytelling through music. Pray You catch me is one of the most haunting ballads and such an incredible scene setter for Beyoncé's most emotionally engaging and sonically experimental project. Formation is going to go down as a generation defining song and such a crucial anthem that undeniably was part of pushing BLM at the forefront of public discourse. 9/10 5. The gift deluxe - one of the best opening songs in a Beyonce project and a consistently great collection of music. Really displays Beyoncé's abilities as a creator. 8.75/10 6. 4 - Love this album Including the bonus tracks. Where did Lay up under me go wtf?? Vocals on vocals 8.5/10 7. I am slosha fierce - least favorite by far Cuz of the clunkers and some poor lyrical crafting. Several incredible songs including Broken hearted girl, Smash into you, hao, sweet dreams, diva - 7.5/10 Edited July 12, 2022 by Massive_Teardrop
