The way my brain can’t process the fact we’re getting an album in a mere few weeks. Still feels like we’re in the rumors era and nothing is proven to be correct

Also, what happened with that red gloved photo are we ever gonna get closure on that?:rip:

I think the only thing that will work for the BMS video at this stage is a set up similar to the 7/11 video. Anything more serious could look corny IMO. I think more than anything the public would love to see Beyoncé in a simple environment for a change just having fun. A cute choreo that tik tok will run with and some fun shots heck go with a comedy if possible. This album should be light and fun in tone. I just dont want to see anything too serious involved here.

I love the omnipresent sarcasm and irony in this thread

That was the first weird element of this era tbh. The fact that she has not smiled in ONE picture since the beginning of the era should have been a sign that we were not getting some light and fun summer project lol. I'm starting to doubt if she still wants to do music at all.

To be fair, we've only seen two pics of this era - one of them so blurry you can't even see her expression. I would recommend reserving assessments/judgements on the spirit of the album until we hear more

Yeah, the one thing I genuinely do not get is how they chose that album cover and paired it with that caption and thought, "This works!" Totally different vibes.

She's never smiled on a cover. I know y'all roll your eyes about the smiling thing, but it would've been a nice change of pace and fit the supposed tone of the music.

“Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)” by Kate Bush has reached 400 MILLION streams on Spotify. It’s her most-streamed song on the platform.

See that? All thanks to a Netflix series and the song was featured only a few minutes on the show. A song from the 80's! We cant doubt Netflix's power anymore. The absolute slay it would be if she had a visual album released on Netflix at the same time. No doubt her streams would explode!

Beyoncé doesn’t really fit the light and fun vibe tho… Her definition of fun is changing the game with a beyhidration 10 month silence and a no-statements release of a visual masterpiece.

I'm glad i wasn't the only one confused by the caption. Sometimes it feels like she is trolling the public and she is not all into doing music anymore. I dont know some vibe i got from her a while ago. I'll just wait to see the material before speaking more about this but...yeah.

very weird and borderline offensive comment. she doesn't have to smile to prove to everyone she's happy :bibliahh:

Loads of songs have been featured on that show with not much impact. It’s a one time thing. I agree something on Netflix would slay but I don’t feel it’s going to happen. There is no rumours about a movie this time.

The woman who has tens of thousands of unreleased tracks in her vault, is about to release a 16 track album with a potential two follow ups isn’t into doing music?

A highly popular show with an established fanbase and a visual album are two very different things

She will never be over music. She has three kids and still stays up all night recording. She probably drops them off and then sleeps the entire day to do it all again at night.
