Also the themes/attitudes on ST and Lemon came off like she needed to make a statement to get things off her chest which makes sense for the surprise drops. Meanwhile this era its all about having fun, enjoying life which is why we are back to a rollout.

I don't agree with this. Beyoncé's been obsessed with the same themes her entire career, and when she's not fully happy with something she redoes it 10 times better. Right now she's all about joy, and letting overthinking and perfectionism behind... but she already did that with self-titled. She talks about that in the BTS for ST, the one about run and gun videos. She also talks about 4 being a celebration of life and love in Year of 4. The themes have always been there.

It's like the transition from the visuals of B'Day to the complete film of Lemonade, she's been improving on the same idea. She also redid the afrobeats concept for the original 4 in The Gift, and she's redoing the double album of I Am... Sasha Fierce with a triple act Renaissance. Even the lack of visuals for Renaissance was already done with B5 being called Beyoncé and having a black cover to not give anything away from the visual album.

In a way I find it funny, because she always talks about not being a perfectionist and letting go... but she just can't, and that's why I love her.

America already said no to this song, it's not the sound people want to hear.

What is it with this forum and just making things up and telling yourself it's a fact? :rip: The last time she had a multi-week solo top 10 was "Sweet Dreams" in 2009 ffs. I'm going to need you all to get a grip, because these delusions are not it.

I figured themes of marriage, miscarriage, infidelity, and anger were more prevalent in ST/Lemon vs other albums. :michael:

I see what you mean tho.

The Beyhive Twitter pages that keep posting embarrassing Beyoncé moments each day she doesn't release the video :ahh:

I've been cracking up. That one vid where she's making up lyrics to IIWAB because she forgot the lyrics had me literally LOL. LMAO

I'm legit confused lol

Chart wise, this is her most successful single in a long time :rip:

We are legit losing our minds. I have to laugh.

I'll totally switch sides if they botch the actual arrival of the album...

BUT

It's essentially a certainty that there is an avalanche of ish coming. I'd put bets on some stuff being so epic that we could have never anticipated.

I also think they have to stretch the anticipation. Had we got all the covers at once or the alternate covers close to the real cover, I truly think some stuff would cannibalise. She's event-izing every moment. Big or small.

Not dropping the video alongside the song was a choice, but I am convinced they want to maximize her first week SPS considering that video views now count towards album sales.

On this particular point, we can't have our cake and eat it too (well, we can, but I digress). I'm sure her team have all the data and if it makes most sense to use the video for album sales (which alongside touring is her ever and always end-goal) then I'm for it. Especially with the song still doing well and sitting nicely in the top 10. I know I'd much rather the album does well than fret and complain about a song that's already a certified top 10 and one that's likely to dominate even more over the summer.

IMO, here's what's likely to happen:

* Like others have said, they will probably condense the remaining reveals into a short space of time. Similar to that big burst in the run-up to the album announcement, the announcement itself, and the BMS launch. All happened within a week.

* BMS video will drop anytime between now and day of release. It will continue to be the vehicle song that drives the album (probably the only standalone video for a minute) until the numbers dictate the next song to focus on.

* There will absolutely be a Netflix something to tie-in with the album. Expecting the trailer any moment.

* I'm anticipating something experiential. Could be the pop-ups, could be something else.

* Wouldn't be far-fetched of her to do live-streamed one-off shows much like Harry and Adele. It's the one area I could see Tidal creeping in (and hope it doesn't). Either go with a TV network, Netflix, or something buzzy and in like TikTok.

To some, it may all read like conjecture. But it's all totally plausible and exciting to me. Which is why I will never get the doom and gloom about not having BMS video (yet) or that there's no announcements (yet) when there are so many great possibilities just a few weeks away.

Welcome to the anti-Beyoncé base, post what you hate most about her?

How has no one mentioned that Eminem has announced his album release the week after RENAISSANCE? I guess that kills the multi-week #1 hopes. :ace:

True. Hopefully Renaissance is enough of a smash to overcome.

The silence :rip: I’m embarrassed on behalf of her team. This has got to be the worst rollout I’ve ever seen.
