I think they do and just have a projection/estimated forecast based on those numbers. HDD gets insider news and sometimes knows things we don’t. They’re a hit or miss. I don’t remember if they were the ones to hint B5.

They've been off with a lot of predictions this year but never by more than 150k. I think this should put those 200k predictions to rest. She's likely doing north of 300k.

Kendrick:

Estimate -> 350-400K

Actual -> 295K (55K less)

Harry:

Estimate -> 400-450K
Actual -> 521K (71K More)

Jack:

Estimate -> 160-180K
Actual -> 113K (47K Less)

Post:

Estimate -> 250-275K

Actual -> 121K (129K Less)

Bad Bunny:

Estimate -> 125-150K

Actual -> 274K (124K More)

Luke Combs:

Estimate -> 150-175K

Actual -> 74K (76K Less)

I don’t expect her to do 500k, but I’m upping my prediction to 325k. :celestial:

How would we feel with a song preview of 15 seconds starting in 3 days as a countdown to the album, which could then be used for them to kind of see with what to go for single #2?

This wouldve been another SUPER MODERN and IMPRESSIVE thing to do.

And the ones that did less were all panned by the public.

I BELIEVE

She must really trust that second single to pull through and work wonders. :coffee: Like I’ve said before, BMS was likely the safest/wholesome choice they had and it’s been doing what it has to do without any extra push necessary. She would have clearly put more energy in the lead if she was worried about a lukewarm opening week. Something bigger is likely meant to carry the album thru August and Sept, and hopefully she has a spooky type bop for Oct.

Beyoncé’s silence is scaring me. She has never been this silent during an album rollout.

She is not doing those numbers without a visual like Lemonade. It’s not realistic

If Break My Legend were to appear on Netflix front page.

Beyonce would go down in history as the most iconic artist of all time.

Yes im high af right now, but it still true boo.

Will we as a base ever be ready to admit that Deja Vu is Beyoncé's best lead single and US hive did the song dirty?

I am tempted to agree even though CIL is insanely good too. I think people wanted Bey to fail so bad to throw her down and show her she wasnt the goddess she's always known she is. Its that sort of resilience and drive that made me a lifelong stan, I've watched her grow into better and better versions of herself through drama, breakups, divorce rumors, parental struggles, marriage struggles, childbirth struggles, her child being racially attacked, and the list goes on. She NEVER gives it attention, she justs ascends higher and higher and that kind of control is the only reason I can wait because I know the end vision is gonna be worth it.

Mother ALWAYS comes through.

Did TIDAL report these numbers

Hey Beyternet what are you doing when it's Friday and no new news? No news is good news or no news is time for Meltdown #100000 of the Renaissance era?

Posted

Columbia execs also thought 30 was doing +1.5M

oJlNvMD.gif

Industry execs are kinda clueless of what the GP actually wants. Remember when they said Bey didn't have a single hit on DIL.

I don’t care. 15 new songs in 2 weeks or less, if it leaks. I think we should be worried about it leaking

I didn't even think about that as a possibility

Def feeling the excitement for the music take dominance this week (considering we're less than 3 weeks from the whole album release) but I would be lying if I said I didn't want more of a taste this week of the era to come

Um, they could have kept those predictions to themselves.

400K would an incredible smash considering the climate. 500K - 600k. I’m not seeing enough. Need a video or some promo. More hype.

Waiting for Giselle to start

I hate the assumption though that Bey isn’t capable of pulling numbers.

If we are being honest we can’t really gage how she would do considering she’s restricted a lot of her music for years. I also feel like if there was a visual BMS would be slaying even more.

Idk, but I can understand why fans would downplay the numbers.

500-600k WW makes sense, but US only is just crazy imho considering the climate

If nothing happens this week, that will be two weeks of nothing in a six week album rollout. :gaycat6:

It’s not that Bey can’t pull, but just that the industry has changed so much that it’s hard to know how things will translate. Plus, while this is more of a traditional rollout that usual for her, it’s not necessarily super aggressive either.

It is when the physical release is involved. Hopefully it doesn’t leak more than a day before though. Even BMS leaked and that made no sense to me because she normally has everything under lock.

BMS didn’t do massive numbers on Spotify first day, that’s not a great sign imo. Hopefully the album has more buzz.

I ended up buying the vinyl. :rip:

For what its worth, I do think Ivytopia may tie into the album rollout based on its description alone.
