Chris Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Here we are hours later; the way Beyonce has in shambles. Am I asking too much if she would have at least given us a new date or?
Chris Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Btw I don't think ATRL servers can handle a big announcement. 1
TizTiz Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Postponing the announcement in place of the fires is logistically the right thing to do, but this should've been realistically purposed to the public, not within minutes of something you announced to nearly ppl. Besides wishing for her family to perish in a tragedy- literally ppl on X saying her LA home should've burned down for looking like an airport- you'd have to remove the LA wildfires from this situation to understand ppl's general frustration with Beyoncé & Parkwood. The cycle continues. Once it became apparent how staggering the fires wire and the length of time they've lasted, with the devastating aftermath, the plans should've shifted in a timely manner. Literally DAYS AGO- LAST! WEEK! It's not 'out of touch' to continue on with the release of whatever was planned, it's out of touch, reality delayed and mind boggling to think the appropriate time to announce cancellation would be at the moment of reveal. I do not know what she could've possibly been scheduled to release, but nothing could've caused her and her team to stay up for a week pandering what's the appropriate way to continue. What is the point of having a public relations manager if they can't gage the appropriate time to build rapport with the public, that's their only job. This has literally been an ongoing theme for the last couple of years and only gotten worse within the Trilogy. Also, if the efforts were to push Beygood in the spotlight for the time being, which is actually an amazing idea, morally and business wise, AGAIN, the best time to do it would honestly be not at the last minute. it is frustrating to not have the announcement come to life on my special day. I had an axx of a Monday, to the point I slept the rest of the day to be fully enthralled in whatever was finally happening, and now I'm even more exhausted. Not just because of plans not coming into fruition, but because the tagline for the Trilogy has been "AT A LATTER DATE". Nothing that has been slated for a later has came to pass. On top of that, nothing about this trilogy has even been finished besides being scheduled, besides RENI's album and concert film, and that was only because of a premiere date. For me, the frustrations are beyond this one announcement, but a continued state of uncertainty in the midst of her creating more traditional releases. Every time we have something, that finally seems to be looking upward, it's pushed back, unfinished, unclear, thrown together or scheduled for a later date. That's why ppl are not excited about another rounds tour dates, pushing everything back another year, because there's still 2-3 years left in the he'll whole she wants to liken to echo chamber. Ppl aren't even excited about the visuals, because why do you need nearly a year between each album release to spend another year touring for each album and then release glorified music videos. It won't make the story any more coherent just because you filmed them for nearly a decade. We are at the point ppl are readying her retirement or casting her as 'Legacy Act'. 5 1

Her own family home is under threat from the blaze and her mother has just lost her home so I reckon they're all just concerned with moving back home before making any major business moves.

Expand I get where you're coming from. This is all being really badly handled, and pressure on Team Bey must be at an all-time high. Let's not forget the controversies that have plagued her this era: - Cecred Natural Hair Discourse - American Nationalism Discourse - Country Radio Shutout - CMA Awards Snub - Diddy Scandal + She Knows trend (ongoing) - Beyince Vinyl Pre-Order - Delayed Proper Vinyl Release - Delayed Art Book til February - Sphere Residency Fall-out - Jay-Z Allegations (ongoing) - Cowboy Carter flailing on charts far too fast - Trump re-election (she was prominent in the Harris campaign) - LA Fires impacting her personally and contributing to this delay This whole era just feels cursed. The frustrating thing as a fan is she is sitting on projects ready-for-release that she could just release out of the blue on streaming services that would majorly satisfy her fans. Visuals for Cowboy Carter, a live album from the RWT, a RWT Film streaming release, etc etc. Edited January 14 by alien superstore 2 1
