TizTiz Posted June 21 Posted June 21 Now that I think about it, we be dragging Yvette, but that lady really has her hands full with the Destiny girls. On one hand, she has Bey who's been working on 8 projects, all at once, since 2019. Even though she's putting her all into these projects, she's still randomly throwing them out and going half force for the project that sticks. She prolonging the end result project of 3 other projects, which 2 have been terribly mishandled, and the end result project loses steam daily, while also being in completion limbo. And having to smile through board meetings about RENI era couture line not being sold because they're tied to the end project, but that can't be explained because they can't speak of the end project 🤣, the random (4 years planned) tour, that became a monstrous success and successful tour film, which release has been shelved (because of AMC 😂) and because she's getting harassed for answers on her bosses psychopathic retirement plan. On the other hand, she also works with Kelly, who's been peddling a comeback album for ELEVEN YEARS. Constantly booking high profile interviews to talk about children books & Clarington, nearly turned down a leading role (in a horrible ass movie), didn't have any music lined up after a 2 month press run. Not too mention the time she spent on Chasing Destiny, The X Factor, The X Factor UK, The Voice, where she received praise continuously, just to go home. . .! And these stand alone singles Bey has convinced to throw out & see what happens, while they both continue to take vacations every month. That woman is simply trying to make it through the week without questions about why Beyoncés is at home working out, with no tour in sight and booking Kelly to talk about body wash. . .AGAIN‼️ 1

I'm sure they probably thought of that and decided not to, probably continuity of the trilogy, but if the album was changed at the last minute but they already had the inventory, it wouldn't have hurt. Could've released "Ya Ya" as a promotional single, that song could easily stand without an album, so it would've been a great introduction to the deluxe. Tack on the Pony Up remix, add TXH & 16C instrumentals to the cds and vinyls, everything would've worked out fine with the official packaging art‼️ 2

"ALIEN SUPERSTAR" is pretty self explanatory, but the ideas of what the song could mean to the overall visual storyline is endless. "AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM" & "ALL UP IN YOUR MIND" also tells a specific story in the music that leads to more visually, and "SUMMER RENAISSANCE" is such a anthemic climax. These things live within CC as well (YAYA, AMERICAN REQUIEM, 16 CARRIAGES, DAUGHTER, AMEN) and are so on the nose, but I feels as though they're so heavily reliant on being within the realm of country, I don't necessarily see the vision. • Whether before or after RENI, I think it's imperative to see the world where COWBOY & RENI exists enough to work in & out of each other. They can both be so heavy into House, Hip Hop, Folk, Country, Pop, Neo Soul, Rock & Roll, and of course R&B, but still share quite a few similarities, especially the last quarter of COWBOY. • Because of the times we live in now, where music is consumed for less of an artistic experience on a daily basis, the visuals would've allowed COWBOY the chance to have the longevity RENI experience. Though all we saw were glimpses, photos and clips into the world of ECHOVILLE, the music carried the idea of what is to come in a way COWBOY can't. Not to mention she cared more (to be sloppy enough) to release a preview of the visuals and photos to piece together your idea of what the visuals would be. • She wouldn't have to even release visuals for COWBOY. To me, I would be interested in a live performance of each song than a video for each song. Some songs on the album don't carry that much lyrically enough to visualize the end game. 1 1

QueenB Posted June 21 Posted June 21 This is just an idea, but it wouldve been cool if each act had its own different type of visual. act i: shot as a traditional film i.e. Lemonade/The Gift act ii: recorded like a musical, moving set pieces act iii: live concert that is livestreamed then it ends with dates for the world tour. 2 1
storminthedark Posted June 21 Posted June 21 The problem with the visuals is the same problem the MCU is facing. When you have pre-filmed interconnected storylines which are planned years in advance, if anything changes or gets received badly later on down the line it requires significant retooling than had she been filming when the project was ongoing. What she has now is a film no streamer wants to buy, with a storyline that might not make sense to an audience who have consumed the acts in a different order, and without visuals for production tweaks and entire brand new songs. We have no idea how many versions the visuals have gone through already or how many there might be by the time we eventually see them. 2 1

You can expect to go platinum and have a cute top five hot 100 hit and not be thirsty for bombastic success. She doesn't want to flop, duh, but she doesn't care if she has multiple weeks atop the BB200, or multiple songs at the top of the hot 100 IF IT MEANS SHE HAS TO GET UP AND WORK FOR IT.
