tbh i was slightly skeptical of ren's quality because her previous releases (black parade, be alive, break my soul) were all just good okay to me

for this album, if its anything like renaissance quality wise, we should all be TERRIFIED :jonny3:

I'm SAYING! Especially with the sonic masterpiece that was Renaissance. Like I'm SCARED this is gonna be even moreeee sonically insannneee! AGHH!!!

The only other artist I see of notoriety that has covered blackbird by the beatles is Sarah McLachlin.

That's what my two second search on spotify tells me. :ryan3:

Evan Rachel Wood's version is nice

And we still have the bonus track that is on the cd!

The double IIs must mean something, like part 2?  Seems like it must be a two part album or something with all of the tracks?

À Willie Nelson featuring is HUGE. You don't get, it's huge!

And to have both Willie AND Dolly in the album! WOW. I salute.

I had in mind a black woman, rather than a bird. Those were the days of the civil rights movement, which all of us cared passionately about, so this was really a song from me to a black woman, experiencing these problems in the States: 'Let me encourage you to keep trying, to keep your faith, there is hope.’ As is often the case with my things, a veiling took place so, rather than say 'Black woman living in Little Rock' and be very specific, she became a bird, became symbolic, so you could apply it to your particular problem.

My guess is that post, miley, Shab, tanner and Willie jones will actually be singing features and Willie Nelson and Dolly Parton will be part of potential radio interludes

Twitter discourse is saying Blackbird could be a Nina Simone cover. Are we positive it's beatles?

Mr S confirmed that she covers the Beatles on the album, people are assuming that's the song from the tracklist.

Unfortunately his voice makes PERFECT sense.

In his youth and introduced Malone to many different genres of music including hip hop, country, and rock.[17] When Malone was nine years old,[18] he and his family moved to Grapevine, Texas, after his father became the manager of concessions for the Dallas Cowboys football team.
