Is it the same hat?

The colour looks slightly different but that could just be due to lighting. The shape of the hat certainly looks to match.

Does anyone notice HOW CLOSE Bey looks on act ii to the background image of act i here? The same white horse, position, and colors even match up, the blue on top of the red, the flag is there too and the flowing effect of the white for her hair.

If not intentional on the art directors, the harmony is beautiful. :heart2:

You're bang on.

I suspect that the alternative cover for CC that we're about to see in the coming days will foreshadow the act iii cover in a similar way.

This video boils my blood so much. My God.

For him, the problem was her doing a "self serving song" :psyduck:

I bet he loved Justin Timberlake doing Drink You Away the year before :psyduck:

The idea of an artist performing and promoting a track from their own new album being called self-serving made me so annoyed for a full 10 second then I recovered. I will not let those people break my soul and drag me to their level of stupid hatred and scorn.

The way he's still mad at The Chicks and he doesn't even have a firm reason why. Pathetic.

People think Bey is only focused on the race aspect, but I also see her focusing on the woman aspect here too. The Chicks went through a LOT of backlash in the US after the Bush comments as we all know. Bey got that energy thrown at her when they performed together during their return to the CMAs too, so it was a breeding ground for racists to be loud, I doubt all those people were against them.

The CMAs however FAILED TERRIBLY.

My thoughts exactly! It's not just the race aspect where people feel unwelcomed in spaces. The Chicks were notoriously black balled and removed from country radio. Kacey Musgraves voice was taken away for making a song about the lgbt community. Maren Morris is a queen for always pushing back on the ignorance and standing up for oppressed communities.

It all ties together. I hope she collabs with icons and black country singers.

It's actually a religious painting named "The Conversion of Saint Paul".

"according to the New Testament, an event in the life of Saul/Paul The Apostle that led him to cease persecuting early christians and to become a follower of Jesus"

Critiquing celebrities for their persona and work isn't hate. The funny thing is yall have no problem doing this to other people

That woman isn't above reproach, people are allowed to have opinions, not just the ones yall want to see. That makes yall quite literally a hivemind

I had my doubt for the entirety of 2023: I thought the whole trilogy was scrapped because she wouldn't acknowledge it. But now that act ii is around the corner and presented by Bey herself as the continuity of Renaissance, I feel at peace!

I KNOW there will be a third and final act, whatever it might be. I KNOW there will be visuals when she decides to put them out.

It's the mystery that got me, but now it's a bit clearer and I can 'close my eyes' and enjoy the two next eras.

Do y'all think we're getting a deluxe vinyl for COWBOY CARTER like we did with act i?

I'm hesitant to order an additional limited edition vinyl because I feel like we'll get the beefed up deluxe edition and I'm not spending another $50 on a Bey vinyl to “collect" so to speak and not even have a booklet in it with all the shoots/lyrics from the new era.

I have the RENAISSANCE limited alt vinyl cover and the deluxe vinyl and those two are enough for me. I got the black vinyl pressing for CC.

What are y'all's thoughts? :-*

this thread is in a constant state of chaos because of differing opinions (including negative ones), so you made 0 points

you got called out for co-signing blatant idiocy and now want to act above it all like you're just providing critique. your act is incredibly transparent and much like AB's (occasionally excellent) music, no one is buying it

anyway, I won't be entertaining you beyond this final response because this has stunk up the thread enough as it is

Neighdine > Torneighdo >> Chardonneigh > Keeping Reneigh

my critique with these names is that it doesn't really match the album title in the same way Reneigh does (Reneigh = Renny)

The more that people are suggesting collabs...the more i hope there's no features at all. I'm seeing names like K. Michelle ...people are doing too much & are seemingly trying to turn this into some charity album. hopefully the collaborators beyonce was talking about are on the writing/production side.

dangerously in love remains my favorite cover.

Dangerously cannot and will not be beat. Her face, hair, the diamonds, the blue. It's THE most iconic album cover ever - period, not of just her own repertoire, over everyone's.

Cowboy Carter is definitely 2nd and by far the most artistic of the bunch. My only gripe with cowboy carter is the careless editing on her face. I'm sorry, it's disrespectful. But if you take the cover in a the ratio it was created, it's perfection!

this is a terrible way to look at it though. Renaissance was a great way of not only paying homage to the greats, but also platforming underrated voices both as features and deeper down.

I think people throwing those mid-level and smaller artists in their wishlists are much more exciting than people wanting the big superstar moments (which isn't necessarily what you specifically want but what I'm seeing most often)

Azealia Banks often makes some great points, wrapped up in a lot of nonsense and ****. She almost never hits the marks with her rants about Bey though. What a god damn mess.

**** that ho3! I don't know why people give credence to a has been who's med list is longer than a Cécred blowout.

The only hive mind at work here is you and the other low IQ individuals who equate displaying the iconography of your own culture as code switching. Stick to debating about the charts, because art critiques aren't your strength sistren.

Most likely. I think they will do something similar like they did for Act 1 where you can pre order the deluxe vinyl. But the focus right now would probably be to clear out the limited edition variants. I'm not sure when they would start offering the deluxe.

MJ stans stay starting **** with Beyonce lmao. I'm excluding the armani font with MJ as a child though. The Avis with a kid Michael jackson are always more sensible.

so true. it's what I think of when I think of an "iconic" album cover, like it's the textbook definition of the word.
