This is the most vulnerable statement she (her team) ever wrote

No it's cause she NEVER tweets. And tbh people use Twitter but it's fillleddd with a bunch of bots now. More than likely the people that RTed and liked that were actual users. Since she's so inactive, bots are wayyyy less likely to engage with her content since she chooses not to use that platform. And for good reason. Twitter is trash. Same reason why Ariana deleted her account ages ago lol.

Maybe it's the minimalism in me, but I f*cking LOVE IT. My literal room is nothing but my bed, a tapestry and some cute furniture. But I'm more fond of figures/architecture and blank canvases vs. colorful/extravagant paintings or poppy album covers. But I see where you're coming from completelyyy!

Ugh, that COVER and CAPTION :jonny6: I know im late to the party, but mother mothered real hard!! I love it all!

But why has no one adressed the fact that we might get another album where each song transitions into the next like Rennie does?

I mean "where u can close ur eyes, start from the beginning and never stop" kinda gives that away

Azealia Banks often makes some great points, wrapped up in a lot of nonsense and ****. She almost never hits the marks with her rants about Bey though. What a god damn mess.

She gave her opinion? Oh poor Azealia, can't stop paying attention to Bianca.

I'm actually not of the opinion that she makes a lot of great points, she's just sick and mean and sometimes she can be "right" just like a broken clock.

Im still gagged at how flawless that description was.

It was personal, intentional, yet vulnerable, all while emphasizing Beys meticulous ways of creating. A+ :clap3:

No but realistically speaking, would you be here for Bey x Taylor on CC? Would that be a sure to be #1 hit?

For me it's w firm no. It would be too distracting to the point of detracting and overshadowing the album as a whole. You know what them Lord's disciples be like. This era is already rich in narrative going in, even more so than Renaissance. Bey ain't doing traditional promo so I want her and her work to be centric to every conspiracy theory, dissection, clickbait, sensationalisation to be had come March 29th and beyond. I'm not sharing column inches or screen time with the other lady any more than necessary.

I'm down for a nugget in between eras though :eli:

Thats because youre a stan lmao, she made amazing points through and through with this one. How on earth do you go from BLM to this white acceptance imagery?

Agreed, a Bruno/Chris Martin collab would be more.interesting and fitting tbh

Oh I do. I didn't have to touch on vocal dexterity cus we know Bey is considerate of her collaborators; see performance with Alicia Keys. It's the noise surrounding it that'll be insufferable.

Gagged by everything. Especially the caption.

The mini-marketer in me loves the fact that Bey commits to there being a "story" with every project (pretty much from B'Day onwards). What's even sweeter is that it's never a reach; she's pulling from her real experiences.

Rennie easily could have JUST been her "back to uptempo bops, lyrically carefree, I'm Pop again girlies" album and kind of was. But the whole Uncle Johnny angle gave it a deeper purpose, a deeper meaning. All while tick-boxing the aforementioned surface aspects.

Now, with CC, it's the CMAs drama while ultimately pulling off what essentially is a MPG genre-shapeshift (which in and of itself is actually pretty common).

Her whole approach is very old school, qualitative, and smart because it automatically sets up her projects to have a more personal connection before even hearing it.

Knowing she always delivers with the music too just escalates things to new levels of excitement.

Do y'all think we're getting the alternative covers and animated shop promo on her socials this week too?

The whole specifying a "10-day countdown" feels like it also functioned as an "ok, we're kicking off the...promo" signal.

I see they're running ads on social for Shop Beyonce which is great, but there needs to be more direct verbiage from her page directing people to the pre-order. "She can do no wrong" Hive, pls don't shoot me lol.

Also, about the tracklist, IIRC, the Rennie tracklist leaked and it "felt" like her team expedited posting it (same day?).

The features/samples were then guessed when Apple or someone put the redacted tracklist out on its preorder page and then Bey's team's final promo push was revealing the tracklist w/ the features the day before Rennie dropped.

Wondering aloud if it'll be the same this time.

i use the gold deluxe version for The Gift, so it's okay for me

but it's crazy how RENAISSANCE cover looks too basic compared to this one. i started to prefer the limited vinyl one

Sorry, but this is such a dizzy and dense hot take from AB and anyone who agrees with it.

What about the cover (which seems purposefully controversial and a potential head-ups for an unapologetic era) is "white accepting imagery"?

Azealia is a babbling combo of what happens when standom meets contrarian meets stitching together narratives that suit the baseless argument presented. The irony being the same Azealia is overly critical of Bey's displays of blackness too lol. She just likes to talk. Silly woman.

She ultimately likes Bey but seems dedicated to critiquing her and loves the response said discourse gives her.

The reality being that she'd be better off studying Bey's staying power. Because one person is actively blazing a trail and the other is doing keyboard warrior dissecting it. Stans get away with the latter because they aren't actively trying to be their idols. Azealia has been angling to be a "thing" for 12 years and is pretty much a joke.
