Redporus Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Sitting here imagining the COLLABS and that there will be songs BETTER than 16 Carriages 1
SashaDevachelli Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Wow wow WOW Dare I say it, this might be better than Rennie! I'm so happy that this pretty much confirms every act's cover will have a horse, I love a good theme And I love her little novel insta captions that she does, getting a peak into her mind and the process behind the album. The CMAs pretty much confirming her desire to pursue this genre, how long this album was in the making is so interesting. My pronouns are U/S/A 11

sillycilla Posted March 19 Posted March 19 I absolutely LOVE the cover! Possibly even more than Renaissance. It sounds like she is going in the direction that I had hoped. Taking the genre and making it her OWN. I don't think we are ready for this! 1

TizTiz Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Not a bad cover, at all. It actually looks like a cover fans would make and deem better than the original, so she's one step ahead, 😅. Let's take a moment and reflect on the eternal gag shes been brewing! Taking that one experience from those who 'love her', until she's in 'their space', and making it a nearly decade long process to make them the joke. Drawing up the history and origins of said 'space', while also mocking those who believe only they belong. Becoming the first black woman to hold a country #1- shedding light on the roots diggers and ground breakers, who went unrecognized & unsung. She even gave the ppl a hint of where she is headed with this album in the announcement. They've been too focused on keeping TXH off the radio, when there's an entire album coming to say "KISS OUR AXX". Saying this isn't a country album, but a Beyoncé album, holds such an extreme amount weight after the love, care, detail, production, history put into "LEMONADE" and "RENAISSANCE". 2
Redporus Posted March 19 Posted March 19 I cannot believe she has morphed into the Michael Jackson and Madonna of our time artistically! Literally so established that she can make political and social statements with her music without any care about it being successful or not. This album gives me a combo of Madonna's albums: Music (visuals and country references musically) and American Life (message, imagery and patriotism) I am in AWE. 14

If she had released it three weeks ago so many people who think they know better than Beyoncé and Parkwood were saying she ABSOLUTELY MUST DO, knowing that she's not going to be on a wild promo tour, what would she do now? This is the perfect moment, ten days ahead, to launch the cover. Exactly. That's why I'm glad Beyonce doesn't listen to this pseudo execs. They want everything now, now, now. Ok..then what? By the way, we already lived through the Renaissance era....we know EXACTLY what to expect...please don't think this era to going to be ran any differently outside the music itself. Beyonce will release, go on vacation, and go about her merry way until the tour starts. 3 4

There is no artist like her nowadays!!
SashaDevachelli Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Every time I think about the cmas it just makes me angry all over again… I knew she would eventually touch back into this space, with a vengeance. And here we are, topping the charts as the first black woman to go #1 with a country song. The legacy she has carved in her career as an artist… it's incredible. She is one of the greats along MJ and Madonna and anyone who disagrees can suck it 9

The whole country scene is rotted. Kacey being blacklisted from country radio until this day for making a pro-LGBT song at the beginning of her career. Women barely getting any airplay. Black artists not being represented. The Chicks still being treated as persona non grata for telling THE TRUTH. Racists. Sexists. Homophobes. War supporters. Just all around rotted.
