How many copies do y’all predict Act II will sell within the first week?

I’m going to leap and say I think she can sell 400k+ in the U.S. alone.

I honestly think the sales for Act II will surprise everyone. I don’t think anybody expected Texas Hold Em to smash this hard, especially so early.

I’m gonna eat a cookie and say I knew it would be this big Day 1! 😂

I predict 425K - 575K 🤠

Perhaps an unpopular opinion but I've said this since the beginning. The Big Freedia intro during BMS is jarring and probably turns some people off.

The truth is rather: People these days gravitate more towards music that has real Instruments in it: Flowers, Harrys Album, Taylor dominance, Lanas success..

Unless u make HipHop, "real" music is favored these days

Have been back and forthing with myself about this.

I'd say... 300k to be safe.

Yes, she has a bigger hit on her hands at the moment, but not having the pre-order up is extremely jarring. Like, why give yourself 4 weeks to sell big numbers when you actually had 7 weeks to play with?

I trust that they have a plan and maybe just maybe the data supports her performing better in sales with a more condensed window of drops (title, covers, variants, merch etc).

I could actually see her doing way more than 300k, but it's contingent on them really doing all the things. Loads of covers, formats, and retail partner exclusives (Target, Amazon, her store).

Also I’m shaking my reputation score went from neutral to good after 3 consecutive posts of mine in this thread got lots of laughs and likes! I’ve been trying to be less pessimistic or hiding it behind humor so the gworls don’t keep jump me with downvotes! I’ll try to save my deep “annoying” thots for other spaces but no guarantees. I kinda miss the weekly lashings for simply being paranoid about Beyoncé falling off or getting canceled.

This is now my villain origin story

The only complaints I heard from the geepee was that the song was too long and repetitive. The climax to that EVERYBODY!!! shout took too long. Without Freedia the song has no flavor.

I love BMS and think it's a great anthem that suits Renaissance really well

The GP not connecting as much with the song doesn't make it bad

Also act ii's lead wouldn't be performing as well without act i

I get you but personally, I love Big Freeda's part. It adds a little flavour to it.

this.

next tweet: “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” by Beyoncé has surpassed X streams on Spotify. Thats faster than Neil Armstrong landed on the moon in 1969. :rip:

BMS was her first proper solo single in the streaming era, and she was starting off on a back foot following Lemonade, EIL and The Gift. She didn't have a big streaming base. In that context it did very well.

THE is building on the expanded streaming audience she developed following rennie.

It is SO amazing how everybody gets Beyonces intentions AND celebrates them. Its been a long time since a Beyonce project hasn't caused division, but rather unity :jonny6:

Been thinking about Beys interests and how she likes to pay homage and I will BET fresh money that Selena Q (from TX) is gonna be in this somehow. :hawkeye:

Its amazing live as Beyonce is and she can make magic. As a standalone track on streaming it is not something you want to listen to on a normal day to day basis imo. Look at its streams compared to CUFF IT, people love playing CUFF IT at get togethers and stuff, I have not heard BMS again since that original period.

Texas is here to stay like LOT, CUFF IT, Halo imo.

I'm still shook over these Spotify numbers. THE really is that girl. :clap3:

I also received my Cecred Super Fan Bundle in the mail today. So far, I've tried the Nourishing Shampoo (a great product, but the smell is a bit too perfumey for me), Moisturizing Deep Conditioner (My fave so far), and the Nourishing Hair Oil (another great product, though I wish it were a bit thicker. Amazing smell). You can tell Bey and Tina put a lot of thought into the product, and I have no doubt she will invest more energy into promoting this to make it successful.

Omg I was thinking the same thing! I would not be surprised to see some Spanish influence from here - especially from Selena!

It's cool that the song is doing amazing in the streaming era, numbers are a plus

I've overplayed both Texas and 16C already so I can't wait for the album to drop

Yes, its very cultural which I respect and love, I'm from TN. I also get that for many people it's loud and annoying lol.
