Because it’s loud as hell to remove act i

it wouldn't be loud at all to replace that banner with a tour photo or "RENAISSANCE: A Film by Beyoncé" or whatever. no reason for her to keep it sayin ACT I like that for 2 years if she changed her mind.

keeping act i on everything is very me buying material for a specific quilt i want to make and yet that fabric has remained untouched in my stash for like at least 2 years

we’ll both get to our projects when the time feels right, #virgo things

Yeah but you don’t announce you’re going to give it as a gift and keep that person waiting for it

I really don't see Beyoncé sitting on material for YEARS and still be happy releasing it like it's new

I'm on team "All acts are scrapped"

:suburban:

Y'all realize both Thique and 6 Inch were both recorded in 2014 or before?

God knows how much material she has in the vault patiently waiting to get released

You act like she's not in the studio or on her laptop messing with them every day. :rip: She's probably reworking them all the time

this is probably true, and tbh I’m glad that I can’t really think of anything that feels overworked off the top of my head

nothing kills me like a demo leaking and it ends up having an OOMPH missing from the final product

I’m still seething about the Video Phone featuress doing that with Aura; the leak with the unhinged vocals in the first verse after the drop totally shits all over the weirdly nasal album version. Chromatica had some songs like that too :gaycat7:

isn't the Act II one just based on this Renaissance booklet photo?

It could be anything at this point.

No. She keeps reworking her music.

Again, the Too Sexy sample for Superstar was cleared a few months before the album release, and this is just an example. Plus, the music has to be good, not necessarily "fresh".

Uuuu girl… Lemonade slaying my soul today :WAP:

i disagree with the "the music is 4 years old so it must be scrapped" takes cause 1) she released reworked, decade old songs many times 2) she’s obviously not just sitting on them but reworks them constantly and 3) as long as the music’s good who cares when it was made ?

bonus : even if ACT II is full of 4 year old music (which isn’t that old like ?) who would know ? SHE won’t tell us anyway and worst case she tells her producers to keep quiet or pretend that it’s new songs, she’s not above some lies here and there :santa:

as for the visuals, the most logical take is ACT I + ACT II = Visuals aka ACT III

if she DID scrap anything it’d be whatever ACT III was supposed to be originally instead of fully finished visuals or music

Who cares if it's 4 years old? She even "voted out 45" one and a half year later. Renaissance could come out today and it would still make sense and sound fresh. She can even rearrange the lyrics to new circumstances: every Tiffany's reference to promote the brand, the BADU BADU BADU from the performance of the BMS remix, etc.

But we know she was looking out to have them released sometime in 2023 but for whatever reasons it didn't work out. So it can't be that.

Is the film still playing anywhere?

So you guys genuinely believe that there’s another album and that the visuals are still coming? :deadbanana4:

I know for sure it is playing in Romania throughout this weekend. Not sure about other territories though.

it can if she decided to switch things around. matter of fact it could be anything since no one on this planet besides her knows what the original plan was, if it changed by now and if yes, what comes next.

she could do or release anything and call it ACT II atp and we would never know something changed. we actually know absolutely nothing, neither do all the lame ass wannabe insiders that come in here every 6 months or the pseudo reliable journalists btw :cm:

I think it had its final release yesterday for at least India, and at least one theater here in OKC is still showing it

i still think about how she used the theme melody from Swan Lake, a story about a princess who kills herself after being betrayed by her one true love mind you, in the Lemonade film and trailers.

the layers… like WHO else besides her thinks of stuff like that

Get the *** up right now. :jonny5:

This sounds JUST LIKE HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We need more Usher AI like now, they have the same vocal range so this is INSANE tbh.

She and Usher need a new duet together. Something uptempo and classic.

And I constantly wonder why she hasn’t recorded a ballad with John Legend yet.

KN️Y News (I still hate the name and overall format, another wasted opportunity imo) said it’s the last week of showtimes, with this Saturday circled in red.

The amount of stupid people who are THIRSTING for attention spamming her comments accusing her of being on "the list" is astounding to me.

99% of them don't even know what list they are talking about and don't even know what the hell is going on.

That's social media for you. Anything for likes and attention, but what is it actually getting you?

We don't know this for a fact, we just have a rumor from a somewhat reliable insider. Insiders also told us she had foot surgery and signed a three-movie deal with Netflix. They're sometimes right, sometimes close to truth, and sometimes what they say never comes to fruition.

Not to mention, there's nothing that would stop her from shopping around "a visual element for my next two albums" as a vague concept in 2023. Early talks... I don't think "shopped around" has to mean she had a finished product and/or played it all for some streaming exec.
