I use Spotify, too. I'm on Premium and have the audio quality as high as it'll go.  Tried it on AM and it's the same.

do you only notice the difference on speakers or even with headphones ? try playing around with the EQ, mine’s on bass boosted + audio quality high and audio on loud

I want a film, idgaf about the GP. All I ask is the option to quickly access individual videos so if I'm at a pre-game or something I can just click it without having to fast forward through a movie.

It'd be nice if you had the option to play the entire thing from the beginning but also could choose individual songs like episodes. If you choose from the beginning, there's no lull in between asking if you want to play the next episode.

This illustrates my point better as not just the GP will want quick access.

Eventually streaming services like Netflix, Prime etc should be incorporated into the Hot 100. If it happens it’ll probably be after she can really benefit from it and when everyone else is doing films

I feel like all my girlfriends loved RENAISSANCE :skull:

But like 80% of my friends are Beyoncé fans. I'm a rational, regular adult but I truly cannot with haters. All of the Beyoncé haters I know are always...dusty in a way. I can't explain it but they just are, I can't be the only one noticing this :rip:

This is so true. A lot of my straight girl friends are Beyoncé fans but all say they couldn't get into Renaissance and I'm always like "what do you mean? It's her best album" and they don't get it

I had a similar experience. Have friends and family who said they didn’t really like the album. My friends yesterday as I was explaining how much I loved my show were like “yeah I feel like I don’t know a lot of her new music”…. But why? It’s right there. Idk lol :rip:

Ive also had people irl straight up tell me they don’t like or “hate” house music and I’m like you’re entitled to your wrong opinion!

This all goes back to Americans having some weird aversion to dance/EDM music. They def view other genres as more digestible & preferable. IDGI.

I mean I completely understand a non-fan not liking Renaissance. As a fan that album was a rough first listen. It's very long and exhausting. I felt exhausted after the first listen. If I didn't know who she was I could see myself turning it off after church girl. Most people have ADHD nowadays and just want to hear an quick easy to learn bop or sad song.

Beyonce makes niche music nowadays. I expect most people to not care for her songs. Which is why I roll my eyes whenever someone says "but I like Rihanna" who is the exact opposite in every way.

I’m surprised we haven’t diagnosed Beyoncé with ADHD yet

The only songs I was like UM at first listen were I’m that girl and AUIYM. Both clicked later. I couldn’t tell where the songs ended or began for like a week lol it flows like a dj set. It’s so addictive to listen to

Funnily enough back in College, at my PWI, the biggest Beyoncé fans were the white sorority girls :skull:

Then she had her Lemonade, BIK/TG eras and they sort of fizzled out.

The whole Beyoncé is black skit on SNL made it all the more hilarious because I vividly remember a girl in discussion complaining that Beyoncé was "ignoring" a big part of her fanbase because she couldn't relate to all the "ethnic" stuff :skull:.

The white ladies I work with in corporate love her, but mostly for her DC and solo 2000's discography. They can't relate to her newer stuff but still consider themselves fans because they were obsessed with her 20 years ago.

Many of the biggest Beyoncé haters I've known were black women though, but they tend to exist on opposite ends of the spectrum with her.

Gay black men can't have a conversation without Beyoncé coming up it appears, that's one celebrity you can always bring up that seems to be universally adored by us. She's sort of our Diva.

It's funny how the whole thing works.

People always say that about her latest album. I bet most don’t give her albums a chance.

I still don't know what's my favorite track from Renaissance though.

I'm kinda leaning towards AHAP but.....

I don't know.

Beyonces music is GP friendly not niche. Maybe you hang around a lot of conservative people or old people or something. She fills stadiums everywhere. She told you she has mass appeal a while ago @Fleahive

Y’all forget with pop stars a lot of people just listen to the most popular songs not the whole albums all the time like the real fans. Like with someone as big as bey they might listen to the whole thing once or twice and then after that just fw a few songe. Bey has songs like cuff it, bms, Virgos groove, summer renaissance even Alien superstar with that im too sexy interpolation on renny. Recently did savage remix with meg too. all those songs have mass appeal. Maybe stuff like pure honey and auiym are niche, not EVERYTHING.

True, but you can't ignore that it's been more niche recently. Her themes have been very specific, and so has her message.

She'll fill stadiums and continue to be a superstar because she's been in the game since the Clinton administration, but had Beyoncé begun her career making music in the vein she does today she wouldn't have made it very far.

Her mass appeal isn't going anywhere, but it's not as tangible as it used to be.

I've said this before about how white women LOVED Beyonce until Lemonade they all suddenly decided to become full time Swifties. White feminism got to them.... and yes her biggest haters are other black women. Either the uptight ultra religious or the shea butter twitter side that would always say she wants to be white for wearing blonde wigs all her life and nowadays say she is profiting off the black community lol.

Tour ends> visual announcement then release during the fall> mid winter act 2 announcement> early/mid spring act 2 release> act 2 summer tour.

Idk if act 2 will get visuals but I honestly hope we just get regular music videos.

I feel like Buzzfeed set her up on purpose. Some publications know what they're doing to piss the public off similar to the Shade Room. I remember "Yes Beyonce is better than the Beatles" article that had people fuming. They got so obnoxious even I was cringing at how often they'd bring up for no reason.
