its lack of promo and paying her catalogue dust, nothing else :deadbanana4:

There’s definitely more to it. The streams of songs she’s consistently performed are quite low. Love On Top, Formation, Diva etc

Not having your music on Spotify/Apple and exclusive to Tidal for years will do that to you. So the sabotage is coming from inside the house

Aww she has grown so much. Beautiful mother and daughter picture.

It must be so amazing for Beyoncé to get the chance to share her passion and a stage with so many members of her family : her husband, her sister and now her older daughter.

Beyonce I’m begging you: I don’t care that it has the biggest capacity in the tristate, PLEASE stop picking MetLife.

Well that depends. There’s over 10 million people in NJ/West Side of Manhattan/NYS/PA/CT that find MetLife to be more convenient, hence the reason it exists as such. Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island however…. There is a rail line that drops people off directly in front of MetLife from Secaucus that starts from Grand Central (along with many buses from port authority). I just think it’s all too confusing to New Yorkers that don’t know anything beyond the MTA. The key is just planning way ahead during the day (going home is just going to be chaos no matter what or where). The area is just too congested and split up by islands, bridge and tunnel. There is no easy fix when it comes to the tri state location.

Her music had always been on those platforms....Lemonade was the only album exclusive to Tidal

honestly...the streams convo is boring too. yall see other pop girls streaming stats & once again...the pesky need to win stan arguments prevails. Some of the Hive needs to come to terms with the fact that she's not going to be the #1 streamed artist on any platform nor does she need to be. all of this is okay. stop looking to Taylor...that's not her peer group. Beyonce has seen success in the physical, digital, and streaming era...she's done well enough for herself.

They are not. The only peer that does better than her is Shakira right now.

Those artists are not from her generation, Beyoncé was already a star, hated, loved for almost a decade before they stepped on the scene.

The thing with Bey’s streams is they’re so many songs doing 100-200k+ daily from each album. Her hits from the last decade in particular weren’t exactly tailored for the GP to stream en mass the way other MPGs were doing at the start of the streaming era.

For comparisons sake, Katy has several of her hits doing 400-500k+ daily but it’s limited to 2 eras with a major gap between her hits and the rest of her catalog. Like she has her signature/smash hits doing impressively well and then next to nothing in the 100-300k range as opposed to Bey who has like a dozen songs in that sort of range (that date as far back into the early 2000s)

People seem to stream Beyoncé in a way that’s very evenly split depending on the album as opposed to most other MPGs where most of their streams are anchored in one or two eras worth of hits.

Her streams are fine from someone who is in the music industry for over 25 years.

Definitely, but now she releases promptly thats no longer a reason. But a mention on IG wouldn’t hurt

I managed to see how she’s doing in comparison to Usher/Alicia, they’re doing 4-5m. I wonder how a full comparison would look of top songs by Beyoncé and her peers

I personally think they should be better than Shakira! For someone in her carer, they’re good but for where her carer is (still able to sell records, hits etc), not so much. She definitely could be higher up if her team were on it. Streaming hits in this day are important

This may just be me trying to excuse puta's lack of promo but I do think her being subpar on streaming helps with the elusiveness :deadbanana4: it's too premium to stream

Not some hives accusing the woman of using ozempic as if this isn’t a pattern with her weight when she starts to tour. She always get much skinnier when she’s on tour compared to when she’s first started!

I don’t understand some of her decisions; is she more of a capitalist or an artist/musician now aday? Honestly, I don’t know anymore

There's a lot to be said about Beyonce's streams...

The absence of the Lemonade (creating a massive wedge in her relevance last decade).

2 flop side projects side to side (EIL/The Gift)

A crazy diverse song library which doesn't always make for easy listening. It's not like throwing Lana/Taylor/Sza on shuffle where you ultimately know you're getting a cohesive sound/genre dive.

A lack of hits over the last decade compared to her closest, still relevant peers in their target markets (Shak/Rih). Being real real, Love on Top & DIL are her only big radio GP hits between 2010-2020 (her fault).

Consistently pushing songs that may be loved by her & fun in a setlist but the GP doesn't massively care for them (Diva/1+1 for example)

A lack of "cool" in her single selection... Her contemporary, artistic reinvention that occured with ST isn't really documented through her singles aside from DIL. No Mine, Haunted, 6inch etc. Her singles don't imply growth in the same way her albums do & singles is mostly what shapes the Gaps perception.

... But even with all of that she's like still top 4 of artists who debuted in the 2000s. Meanwhile this is all without adding DC to the list which obviously is part of her career. Bottom line is her streams are huge in totality, who cares if she's not competing with Taylor, Rih or the new girls who are half her age. Sometimes you just gotta let people shine in their own light.

I think it all boils down to the fact that there clearly is a discrepancy between her being this perfectionist when it comes to her art, which she clearly is, and the very suboptimal management of her music distribution and career.

I personally dont even ask for more, but for better. Teasing a project so far in advance with no follow-up is nothing but sloppy and bad marketing. No other way around it. Not making use of momentum is bad management (Alien Superstar, AHAP and Heated). Releasing parfume bottles and overly expensive necklaces by Tiffany around the time of your aniversary when all fans are craving true content is piss poor timing. These are just examples, but I could go on and on about it (IvyPark and her handling if Chloes career for instance). Her problem is not that she should work harder. One simply just expects her to work smarter with the amount of sources and experience she has.

Onto the next topic this is something that has been on my mind for a long time and now I have an atrl account to share 😁. This is my personal theory.

But I believe Beyoncé’s streams, especially monthly listeners on Spotify are so bad compared to her peers is because she is (speculation) one of the most blocked artists of all time. I believe a majority of her blocks would come from ultra religious people that think she’s the devil. And I fully blame her for dabbling into the Illuminati conspiracies with that damn triangle symbol every chance she gets and religious imagery. She gets the heat more than her peers like Rihanna because she’s also so private. People believe she’s private for a reason and has something to hide. So many people think she’s on that fake Epstein list. I remember a couple years ago ALL of Beyonces top comments were pizza emojis. Y’all remember that conspiracy? Everything she does gets turned into a conspiracy. Even the Dubai DIL vocal had viral tweets saying she’s a siren and she cursed everyone. People are blocking her out of fear for their own life. And let’s be real they weren’t listening to her like that anyways. Then you just have the general haters that can’t stand her/racists. I truly believe that’s why she will never surpass 55 million listens. It’s sad because we all call Katy perry a flop but that girl stays above Bey. And yes I know playlists play a big part in monthly listeners but let’s not act like the queen isn’t all over 2000s/r&b/pop playlist.

You made me laugh, but somehow you are kinda right. Every time I see a post on social media about Beyoncé I see so many hateful posts about the illuminati.

maybe if some of the parkwood employees took their heads out of her ass they’d finally understand none of us want "stats" lol all we wanted the past year were a few music videos, a live performance here and there and a few interviews or a cute behind the scenes video…you know… stuff that isn’t 700$ necklaces, haute couture collections nobody cared about and 9 months of silence :deadbanana4:

idk how that’s so such a hard concept to grasp for some on here

You're wrong, you should just get used to this. This is Beyonce. She already gives you more than expected since she said shed retire at 30. Be grateful.

we wouldn’t have to talk about ozempic and streaming numbers if we had content beyond merch drops and “will tonight’s tour looks be cute or hideous?”

People always forget that "Pop" pop is still the most universal and easy-listening genre of music. RnB/Hiphop is not that popular outside of the US. Here we're talking Asia and LATAM which is taking Spotify by storm as well.

There's a reason her pop hits are her biggest ones (Halo, Irreplaceable, Single Ladies). Even Cuff It is the most pop-sounding song in the entire Renaissance
