Tbh I like her selling perfume. If mother is going to be a capitalist witch, give us the goods like perfumes and hair care, none of that Olive oil and diamonds we can’t afford mess! (Not like they’ll be any cheaper but still)

I think the perfume is a test to see if people will like it first and then she will probably release the full products, which will be perfumes, hair products and selfcare stuff. I like this for her and i think it will be a success. Eventually i hope she will add Make up and comestics.

I'm going to say the perfume gave me a rash and pay tiktok influencers to say the same

I wonder if it will smell nice

Posted (edited)

She used to have the best smelling perfume of all the pop girls and Bey said she would pick the scents herself which the lab people presented to her so she could choose so i have no doubt she is going to do good with this perfume and once she has good feedback on it, she will release more stuff. She did say in a recent mag interview that she would be selling stuff made from honey so i think she will have an entire brand of stuff made of honey. I'm excited for this and it seems more personal to her than Ivy Park.

Speaking of which i wonder if she will partner with LVMH for Ivy Park next. It seems a logical fit and it would mean her getting into haute couture officially.

That would be incredibly confusing for the consumers. Why did this athleisure line that was a miss more than a hit suddenly become an unattainable price point? The French government would have to approve the brand as haute couture as well and I do not see that happening.

I think the best thing for her is hair care -- which she's working on -- because she's very much associated with her hair. I think it may be time to let go of the clothing dream.

Love Bey but LVMH would never touch Ivy Park. Like ever :deadbanana4:

LVMH couldn't even keep FENTY alive and let's be real, Rihanna is a much better fit for a fashion line :toofunny3: they are not going to take Adidas and Top Shop scraps.

when they bring back House of Deréon with an "Uncle Johnny" dress collection :rip: Matthew Knowles would have. :dies:

I just remembered that I smelled Heat back in the day. I think it was her first fragrance and it smelled sooo good. Nothing super unique but very pleasant. It was one of the better celeb perfumes for sure.

Her new perfume has rose in it and I hate the smell of rose. Nnn. Everything else sounds promising. Clementine, Jasmine, honey, and amber sound amazing. Just that rose note is throwing everything off for me :rip:

Someone here should buy it and do a review for us. Richhive where u at? :gayoncecat1:

Wow, she really hates us. Releasing a perfume just in time for my birthday, and it's only available in USA & Canada :'(

I was always a Midnight Heat girly back in the day, I just wish it had more staying power. I have a feeling this new perfume is gonna be LUXE :duca:

It's nice to see that some of us are really excited at the prospect of getting a new perfume from B... It means it's not all in vain.

For me this ain't it and I'm still eagerly waiting for the visuals.

Thank god I'll be away next weekend so I'll miss the meltdown. Worst case scenario, I'll watch the visuals with a bit of a delay... (but let's be real............. :deadbanana4:)

I mean, there are still MANY looks from the visuals teaser that didn't make it to the tour visuals, so the idea of no film still seems pretty odd to me. Plus the many celebs who hinted at having cameos in it.

The teaser shows her lipping to I'm That Girl, so it was clearly intended to be a music video.

I know she could just scrap things off, don't get me wrong. But also the first troll she did with Break My Soul giving us a 30 second visual then a black screen, then the actual teaser. It just seems like doing too much just to scrap things at the end. I still think there is a film.

Having said that, I would much rather get act ii soon or wait for a tour documentary at this point.

and LVMH wouldn’t even touch Ivy Fart with one of those robotic arms she has on stage

The only 2 smart things she's done this era were the 4 box sets and the RWT poster.

I'm lowkey so excited for the 29th. Because one way or another, it is going to be an iconic day and event for the Hive.

It's either Jokes, meltdowns, draggings, fuming, debates and frustrations

Or

Gagging, screaming, saying we never doubted her, live reactions, new content, and lots of fun!

Either way it's going to be LIT
