The announcement has nothing to do with Bey and the countdown does not end on 4/4 4:44pm EST. That Yoncecapital Twitter fan page made that up. When it comes to anything regarding music, we should all know by now that Beyoncé wouldn’t let someone else make an announcement on her behalf.

Is Bey still a stake holder of Tidal despite Jay selling it a while back? I find it very hard to believe Tidal of all things would announce anything. I’m not believing anything unless it’s posted straight from her IG.

 

Hopefully it’s at least FWT or OTR 2 live or something to keep us fed

Yeah I think any connection Beyoncé has to Tidal is over. Jay-Z sold the company a couple of years back. This is unrelated. The date is a pure coincidence and if anything they might be using the association that date has to Beyoncé to hype up their new live feature.

He still owns 20% of Tidal. He sold the other 80% to ex Twitter man Jack Dorsey.
