Yes i think now that something was teased on her website, the project must be finalised, since she would never just tease something without the intention of releasing soon. 

Think about it since that Harpers Bazaar interview nothing else was announced or teased and it was all just rumours from various sources but not from her team. 

So we are one step further from her next album!

Since she has teased I've been banned for 3 days and unbanned again  

 

- Please don't let this be Beyoncé II and Beyoncé III (although ST is her best album) 

 

- She's probably announcing something tomorrow on the birthday of the twins

 

- twins = twin albums, makes sense

 

- This is for sure a tease from their team/herself. The website could be hacked, but to get hold of IG, tWITTER, tik Tok, etc? She's def coming

 

- please release on a Friday, she even created Fridays, why would you release on another day yet again 

 

- Juneteenth coincidence is cute, but PLEASE wokeyoncé has proven to be boring and unsuccessful. She represents the black community in whatever she does 

 

 - The albums need to be GREAT, I don't want this to be another excuse album to tour....

Well, to me twin albums is not a double album but just two separate and different bodies of work born around the same time. I wouldn't care if its a folklore-evermore thing where both are not opposites and they complement each other, but I don't need a b sides thats basically a negative imprint of the first album. I lowkey wish she would first release B7 and 5-8 months later release B8, but that wouldn't make them twins.

What a roller coaster this weekend has been. 

 

So many emotions, so many take-aways:

 

- There's definitely and unquestionably more than a base level hype for Bey. It's all about creating that extra buzz and everything from the profile pic, to the news stories, to the fan detective work proved how powerful her brand can still be when it's "go" time. 

 

- Something is for sure going on. For sure.

Everything else could in theory be conjecture. But the continued profile pic ish and Tidal chiming in confirms IMO. 

 

-  No way was her site hacked.

Granted it would be somewhat embarrassing, but they would have for sure  put a statement out if there was a hack. Because who knows what a "hacker" could have posted on the official site for an artist as big as Bey beyond the B7 / B8 teasing. No team wants to look vulnerable or incompetent, but they also don't want to be subject to unpredictable hackers in a way that can affect the brand. 

 

- Realistically, she's either announcing today (Sunday) or anytime from Tuesday. Being so family oriented, I can't see her tying the twins' birthday (on Monday) with her professional endeavours. 

 

Unanswered / Kinda Confusing Things:

 

* After that designer drama leak, the feeling is that she's still shooting now. What would she be announcing/releasing now in that case?

 

* She's not tour-ready, nor does it feel like there's an opening on this year's schedule for a summer stadium run (she would have had to announce months ago). What's happening on that front? Cus touring will always be her end-goal.

Really interesting concepts. I'm here for ALL scenarios!

 

As Chart Hive, I'd probably lean more towards a double-album out of the gate (get those streams!). Or something like Justin Timberlake's 20/20 Experience. One album now, another (not pre-announced) later. The sales for both count towards the same project. Very here for her playing tf out of the game and racking up the numbers. 

 

At the same time, I'd live for her doing something like Frank Ocean's Blonde and Endless (sans the all the label drama). She's creative enough to be able to justify back-to-back releases and managing to event-ize both. 

 

I think our longtime buzz for "the album" and knowledge of her usual template (visual drop) has us forgetting that she's very much about that life when it comes to envelope pushing and doing what her peers won't. Hoping that's the case with whatever B7 (and possibly B8) is.

Of course! And also if we got a teaser/trailer we'd be even closer to a release, as far as I remember the Lemonade trailer was also released a few days or a week before Lemonade was dropped.

A designer leaked an email exchange of one of B's longtime stylists (B. Akerlund) asking for free product for a "confidential Beyonce visual project". The exchange was shared this week and seemed recent. So, while the shade isn't what we want for Bey (designer complaining), it essentially confirmed that she's shooting something big. 

 

For what it's worth, B. Akerlund is director Jonas Akerlund's wife and she typically works with Bey when he does.

Did the screens also have a date? Maybe it was a few weeks ago, they were filming the jealous music video in middle/late November, almost 3 weeks before self-titles release, so the visuals could also be done at this point OR she decides to not release all the visuals at the same time but rather release one video per month and stretch/expand the era until spring where she could tour straight after

They kinda would if she followers the JT 20/20 Experience approach. The albums would share a title and it would be seen as 1 complete body of work when all is said and done. Also their stats would be combined which would be great.

 

I really like this idea… part 1 now, part 2 around November. And if she has a Netflix visual component, it would be released the same way. 2 parts to accompany each album. Television programs do this all the time. Breaking Bad’s final season was divided, so is Better Call Saul’s. Netflix’s own Ozark and Stranger Things recent seasons were divided but all of the content is part of one complete season.

I really can't recall a time (even during the great drought of 2013) where she got this type of "is she coming" buzz!

 

Maybe I'm looking into it too much, but remember she has a Disney deal (GMA's network ABC is owned by them and she has a good relationship with them). I dunno, something about the segment feels a little too well-informed. Could be a reach, but it feels a little too neatly laid out... from the framing of it as her first album since Lemonade to the contextualization of the other music as side projects, etc. Ultimately, it could be the work of a good producer or something a lil more coordinated.
