@Aslan

this was so good! Oh my gosh

This is what I want more on A5, her just belting out big notes. That's her forte. That's what made Hello so big. 30 was lowkey kinda safe vocally, I mean other than TBL, lol.

You can totally tell she’s fell back in love with her music just by the one she sings the songs. She gives them a lil more personality this era than before.

The way the sing along to RITD is going to eat when she performs it in Brazil :WAP:

Two more viral moments for Mrs Paul to add to the collection for this era :gaycat5:

I love to confidence there, lol.

But yeah, another set of viral moments. Over 4M likes in the last IG post. And Spotify streams are looking better again. So all is good the Adeleverse.

I feel like her streaming is going to explode when she releases another album (or goes on an actual tour). Album is more likely at this point. :gaycat6: She's rebounded nicely over the past couple of years but she needs one more push.

30 did absolutely nothing for her but, oddly enough, I can see the next album doing a lot better.

I think it's just that a lot Adele's main audience (30+ age) have started to use Spotify more actively only recently. And that's why she's been doing better on Apple Music this whole time, because their user base is a bit older than Spotify's. And then there's all the Tiktok videos and edits that have been introducing her to Gen Z. And I think they will like her songs even more when they grow up. She's like a mother figure for them. All this time I've had hope and faith in that things would get better, and they have. I'm deffo very curious to hear what A5's gonna sound like, but before that I think there's a high chance something from 30 blows up, perhaps My Little Love. Though I get that it's not really a song you wanna blast on repeat. And that's the story of the whole album pretty much. But very beautiful anyway.

Whoa, her streams increased again in spite of Halloween

Adele still is well liked and has an audience but 30 was just way too demographically specific (if that makes sense) like 21 and 25 even tho they’re mature sounding, anyone can listen to them  and enjoy them. Whereas teens and people in their early 20s were not vibing with 30 and those are the streaming users demographic.

Yeah, but these people now in their early 20s will grow up some day, I hope so, lol. And I hope they like 30 more then. Maybe it's time to stop the age thing in album titles. But at the same time I don't want Adele to dumb down her music just to appeal to teenagers more and get more streams. That's the bad thing about Tiktok, that it's made the industry cater to teens even more than before. But Adele's always had this image of being older than her actual age. So I think naming the album "30" was kind of a "f*ck you" to the narrative that women expire when they hit 30 in age.

She's back in Top 50 on the Daily Spotify Artists chart.

It's the US Spotify that's been a problem this whole era. Maybe there's a particularly young user base. But the UK is stanning hard still. Their chart is gonna look insane when Adele drops next album.

This was definitely the issue with the album. The songs on the album were too specific whereas in the past she always wrote her songs to be a little more vague so they were more universal. Even as a stan, it wasn't an album I could listen to over and over again.

It was also obvious the album was crafted to get one more massive physical sales push but COVID killed that off. That's why they didn't release it in 2020, when it was supposed to come out, because they knew no one could/would go to the stores to buy albums. They probably thought it would recover by late 21 and it didn't.

However, I think she'll recover with the next album. I imagine the next album will be more upbeat and more streaming friendly. Problem is she takes forever to release. :rip: It's honestly amazing that her streaming has recovered on its own without a tour or basically anything to push it. Vegas has done nothing for her.

There's gonna be video of the speech and interview on Youtube at least. Or at least there's been in previous years

I think 30 was something that Adele had to do because it helped her deal with the divorce. I still listen to it more than her previous albums because I like her voice in it the most. I like the few more vocal riffs and runs compared to previous albums. She sounds divine on Easy on me. I wanna hear more of that mixed voice she uses in the chorus. But I think she needs to take a break after Vegas, even just to get a vocal rest. That's why the new residency extension is kinda upsetting because I guess it pushes the next album further away.

And you know, it's the fans/Daydreamers on Tiktok that have played a crucial role in promoting her music there. The Spotify turn did not happen on its own. And one could argue that Vegas has done something with all the viral videos spreading all over social media. And again, that's thanks to the fans. Sony/Columbia need to make a big social media promo plan for the next album.

If there's no new album and no other side project planned for near future, then we must get the concert film and/or live album from Vegas. It's about time to get something else than the Royal Albert Hall.

RAH needs to be on spotify and apple music first and foremost. i was hoping vainly that she recorded some new material while doing Vegas (it was always possible considering her stable schedule for the past year) and strike the happiness-years while it was hot and give us something new and bright for A5 but knowing how she works... she wont start writing until after June next year at the very earliest.
