She sounds immaculate in the live rendition of love is a game btw :gaycat3:

the way people get to experience that voice live…

im so jealous :deadbanana4:

(I think that’s why I’m so bitter and resentful at the residency)

I’m obviously not thrilled she’s extending the residency instead of going on tour, but I’ve resolved that if this is the last opportunity I’ll have to see her live for a while, I’m going to at least attempt to get tickets. :duca: I have three of my friends, my sister and my mom all signed up for presale codes, too, so hopefully I have at least a halfway decent chance of getting tickets. :dies:

Does anyone have a breakdown of what ticket prices looked like for the last few legs of the residency?

I hope that she at least makes a slight change and does some new songs on the setlist. I need to hear her sing Stranger by Nature live.

Residency ends in June

She takes a 3 month break then finishes the era at rock in rio in September :gaycat3:

I feel like this is what she might do.

I’m so sick of A opting in for dynamic pricing.
She really has sold out :monkey:

I don't know if it's possible to opt out of it though

It is. Artists can choose whether to opt in for it or not.

Ticketmaster offers dynamic pricing to artists, although they have the choice to opt out or set limits to the ticket prices. Ticketmaster originally implemented dynamic pricing in an effort to prevent ticket resales at higher prices

She doesn't make any money from ticket prices. She got paid by Ceasars

I understand that but she could have easily negotiated that dynamic pricing was off the table when signing her contract.

@Aslan I just saw the ticket prices were even higher this time than previously. That's insane! I mean, for Adele's career it's a good sign that there's so much demand still that it sold out even with those prices, but I'm sad for the fans who tried it but can't afford it.

It’s because it’s the final shows :gaycatx:

so once July comes she’s going back into her cave :deadbanana2:

I hope she at least goes into album mode and starts writing/creating A5 for a 2025 release :monkey:

The way EOM has still managed to keep that 24HR Spotify record despite all the huge artists and songs that have released since, is so impressive to me.:clap3:

will she break it with A5 lead I wonder :fan:

EOM has shown better longevity on Spotify than Hello. Though obvi it's a different time now. But I think Adele knew what she was doing when she said she dont want another Hello moment.

And for A5 I'd like them to push the album more. That kind of lead single oriented strategy doesn't seem to work in streaming era. Might wanna try to drop the whole album at once.

It's encouraging how Adele said she's reconnected with her old songs again. And I wonder what that "see you on the other side (of Vegas)" means. I hope not just her going away for many years.

And it's funny how that if we compare this era in length to the 25 era, we would be in 2017 now and going to 2018, lol. Obviously she's gonna need a break after Vegas (or possible South America visit). But now the question is that has she written any new songs in the three years since 30 was finished. (Prolly not :gaycat6: lol)

Oh, and it's impressive that Adele is #33 on the Spotify monthly listeners chart. https://kworb.net/spotify/listeners.html. So even if her (non-singles) streams aren't super high, they are coming from a wide audience.

I feel like the huge delays between albums were also partly because she was terrified of performing them live, and because she couldn't connect to the music. Her saying she's gotten past that fear is promising. She will 100% still take her time before the next album, but I think the fact 30 didn't reach those astronomical levels of success translates to less pressure on her to repeak commercially. I think that could work well for her creatively. She seems more motivated now

Last night’s show was incredible :weeps: it was hilarious at first because I was so confused when I saw her with black hair :rip: until she said she was dressed up hahaha. A dream come true. I can’t even recall how many times I watched her Live at the Royal Albert Hall dvd when I was like 13. So the fact that she performed Hometown Glory, Turning Tables, One and Only, Don’t You Remember…. I cried like a little girl throughout almost the whole concert :weeps:  Not to mention the other songs on the setlist. It was perfect. it was everything I could’ve ever imagined and more. She’s hilarious, gorgeous, amazing. A night I will never forget

I didn’t watch any videos or looked at the setlist prior to going to the concert, so I really really thought she would open the show with SBN :'(  Especially when I saw the lyrics on the cover of the cute little notebook at the merch store.
