TTH can only do so much if the material is lackluster

Posted

Honestly the strong numbers for positions singles surprised me, the era seemed to come and go in the background. But this album was huge on its release, I truly don't understand how it lost all its steam after the first year or so   :deadbanana4:  It's pretty shocking how quickly she's fallen off, gen z is ruthless

That was fast

irony is TUN has had one of the shortest TTH stints for its singles, 7 rings barely stayed for 30 days on it despite staying 70 days at #1 on the global chart. lets not do this.

she didn't push anything after album release, zero post-release promo unless you count the GRAMMYs a whole year after release. her team wasn't pushing anything on TTH, no radio singles at all. She was churning out flop collabs for her irrelevant friends in between and with Positions, you could see she had smash hits at the ready she just wasn't supporting any of it with playlisting or whatnot.

:ahh: Not taylor's underperformed era has more longevity than Ariana's biggest.

One of these albums has ME! and the other does not

exactly, that's why one is still charting on the upper part of the chart while the other serves OUT.

Why are you Swifties so damn insecure? What does this have to do with Lover?

OT : Too bad, I hope it re-enters.

I literally don’t care, I’ll take not charting (after 3 consecutive years btw) over songs like ME! And You Need to Calm Down that are pretty unlistenable

Im sure to a 12 year old girl this is very hilarious. But I take you’re a grown man so yikes. Typical Swiftie mindset.

I'm not that surprised. The album has some good songs but all in all it aged pretty badly despite being released only in 2019

None of her albums have aged that well. ME takes the cake in terms of aging badly though.

I actually think Positions is going to age the best overtime.

not the arianators blaming on the swifties as usual when the person said they arent a swiftie (and the post history doesnt suggest otherwise) :rip: not surprised to see that at all

its longevity is just ok though for a smash era
