Thank you for keep updating the thread, great work!

Such a solid and great list, I hope HW can break the record, one of the biggest songs I've ever seen, truly an insane chart performance around the world.

I think it could do it. It has 41 weeks so far and this week was still top 40 despite of Drake's album bomb.

HW is so breaking BL record, disgusting...

Seeing Levitating there for life makes me happy knowing how much Atrl hates on her.

15 more weeks. This is all so wild

if it breaks it, it better reach 100 cause that’s the only way I’d be okay

Ed Sheehan having 4 massive signature hits   at the end he always wins

Levitating feat DaBaby **

Bad Habits had longevity  That's amazing. Shivers is also showing insane longevity but I kinda doubt it can hang on especially if there will be an album bomb coming. Still, 40+ weeks is very impressive, especially for a #4-peaking song.

I'm surprised there's no Gaga, Taylor or Ariana songs that have reached the 52 weeks milestones

How many weeks is their longest charting song?

The remix wasn’t out during it’s entire chart run. If you include DaBaby it would be less weeks overall.

Ariana is there though, with Save Your Tears Remix at 69 weeks. Her songs from her own albums never make it because she releases singles too close and they end up killing each other on the charts. Save Your Tears Remix had a viral performance and long-term playlisting, things her hits never get, plus it was released as the last single of Abel era and as a stand alone single for Ariana, so it wasn't in competition with any other song.

Streaming, in combination with radio continuing to spin 12-month old songs really made it easier to chart longer huh? Look at how many of these songs are from 2019 onward.

Levitating is credited as solo for the full chart run and Ariana is credited as a colead for Save Your Tears for the full chart. Both of these versions charted for more weeks than the other version of them.

Heat Waves surpasses Levitating and becomes the fourth longest running song ever on the Hot 100.

It is still charting in the Top 10 and shows no signs of slowing down. To tie for the third longest running song it needs to chart for one more week and to break it two more weeks.

Ed Sheeran's "Bad Habits" charts for a 55th week, coming close and closer to "Perfect" which charted for 57 weeks. The Kid LAROI's & Justin Bieber's "Stay" crosses 53 weeks on the chart and climbs to the 49th spot overall.

Other songs approaching 52 weeks include:

BUBBLING UNDER:

#40 Doja Cat - "Woman" - 50 weeks

#41 Kodak Black - "Super Gremlin" - 36 weeks
#12 Morgan Wallen - "Wasted On You" - 35 weeks

With this update "Heat Waves" has broken its tie with Sail and becomes the third longest running song on the Hot 100. It needs to chart for 7 more weeks if it wishes to tie with "Radioactive" for the second longest running song and 8 weeks to break the tie and set a new record.

Ed Sheeran's "Bad Habits" goes recurrent and stops at #32 on the overall ranking. One week shy of tying his own "Perfect" which is at 57 weeks.

The Kid LAROI's & Justin Bieber's "Stay" hits 55 weeks on the chart and climbs to #38, it will tie "Bad Habits" next week as it doesn't seem likely to exit the chart.

Doja Cat's "Woman" hits 52 weeks on the chart, becoming the 87th song to ever do so, tying at #58 along with 30 other songs. It becomes the first solo song by a female rapper achieve this.

The songs from this decade that reached 52 weeks are:

1. The Weeknd - "Blinding Lights" - 90 weeks
3. Glass Animals - "Heat Waves" - 80 weeks (+1)

5. Dua Lipa - "Levitating" - 77 weeks
7. The Weeknd & Ariana Grande - "Save Your Tears" - 69 weeks

"Heat Waves" ties "Radioactive" for the second longest running song on the Hot 100. To tie Blinding Lights it needs 3 more weeks and to set a new record for the longest running song it needs 4 more weeks. A feat that it is bound to achieve as there is no sign of it going recurrent anytime soon.

The Kid LAROI's & Justin Bieber's "Stay" hits 62 weeks on the chart and climbs to #14, it is hanging on the edge of the chart with recurrent status becoming more likely every week. It is questionable if it will enter the Top 10.

Elton John and Dua Lipa's "Cold Heart" hits 52 weeks on the chart, becoming the 88th song to achieve it. Dua becomes the second woman ever to chart three songs for 52 weeks, alongside Halsey.

The songs from this decade that reached 52 weeks are:

1. The Weeknd - "Blinding Lights" - 90 weeks
3. Glass Animals - "Heat Waves" - 87 weeks (+1)
5. Dua Lipa - "Levitating" - 77 weeks
7. The Weeknd & Ariana Grande - "Save Your Tears" - 69 weeks

14. Gabby Barrett - “I Hope” - 62 weeks
14. The Kid LAROI & Justin Bieber - "Stay" - 62 weeks (+1)
32. Ed Sheeran - "Bad Habits" - 56 weeks

58. Doja Cat - "Woman" - 52 weeks
58. Elton John & Dua Lipa - "Cold Heart - PNAU Remix) - 52 weeks
58. Ed Sheeran - "Shivers" - 52 weeks

Ed Sheeran breaks the record for the act with most songs to chart for 52 weeks, with five songs achieving it. He surpasses Imagine Dragons who have four songs.

Ed Sheeran - 5 songs
22. Ed Sheeran - "Shape of You" - 59 weeks
25. Ed Sheeran - "Thinking Out Loud" - 58 weeks
28. Ed Sheeran - "Perfect" - 57 weeks
33. Ed Sheeran - "Bad Habits" - 56 weeks
58. Ed Sheeran - "Shivers" - 52 weeks

The fact that all of these are in this decade :rip: Streaming era inflates the definition of longevity tbh

"Heat Waves" sets a new #2 record and surpasses "Radioactive" with 88 weeks charting. It is now two weeks away from tying Blinding Lights. There seems to be nothing in its way to stop it from getting that achievement.

The Kid LAROI's & Justin Bieber's "Stay" hits 63 weeks on the chart and holds on to #14. With his own solo song "Ghost", hitting 52 weeks this week Justin becomes one of only 5 artists in history that have charted three songs for 52 weeks. His other songs include "Stay" and "Despacito" on both of which he was just a feature.

The songs from this decade that reached 52 weeks are:

1. The Weeknd - "Blinding Lights" - 90 weeks
