2021 - 2 (so far, probably only 1 will stay)

It's tragic. :biblio:

Billie's releasing so she's a shoe-in for the top10. If Rih does something or Adele they could get in too

I suppose continuously releasing music is helping Taylor and Ariana compete with the hip hop acts. Curious how much of a baseline shift these re-releases can give to Taylor's catalogue.

Does Taylor plan on re-releasing all 6 albums this year?

I am guessing atleast 3 and possibly all 5 this year. Reputation can't happen till next year.

Hmm. I wonder how she'll space them out and in what order she'll release them since she's starting out with Fearless.

I'm only tracking for the top 20 artists of 2021 so far so I'm not sure. I imagine she isn't that far behind.

Unless she releases a new album or does some collabs that take off in the US, I don't see her pulling that many streams in the US this year. She isn't a strong streaming artist in the US but she does well Globally.

Last year was her biggest year in the US (so far) and she only pulled 1.3B streams. I imagine that figure will be less this year.

Oh yeah, never expecting her to be in the top20 or sumn like that, just wondering if she was far from it. Thanks anyways!

She has already started teasing 1989. So she is probably going in order of revenue. Which would mean Red next. Then the last two.

Thanks! That's interesting. I'm curious to see how they perform and if there'll be any significant differences in her versions.

Then again, we're only 10 weeks into the year. A lot could change in 42 weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if the top 20 looks a lot different by the end of the year.

  • 2 weeks later...

Updated the OP!

Morgan Wallen increases to 1.6B streams for the year. Drake increases to 1.4B streams for the year. Taylor Swift increases to 1.3B streams for the year. Juice WRLD increases to 1.1B streams for the year.

YoungBoy Never Broke Again & The Weeknd should surpass 1B streams for the year next week.

The way Eminem has had it all: physical sales, digital sales and now streaming.

where is ms lipa for 2020???? didn't DSN do well? :deadbanana4:

She was #56 with 1.3B streams. She isn't that much of a streaming force in the US compared to how much better she does on streaming Globally. Don't Stop Now was only huge on radio in the US. It didn't do that well on streaming in the US.

So far this year, she has 365.6M streams (somewhere in the #60-#70 range) but she'll probably end the year lower as many other artists should release music this year.
