Most Streamed Artists in the US (2016-date)

BuzzAngle Music published a 25-spot list of the most streamed artists in the US every year from 2016 till 2019. From 2020, Rolling Stone Charts started publishing a more comprehensive, 500-spot list of the most streamed artists in the US, which they update every week. Lists from both companies were used in putting this together. 

 

Most Streamed Artists of 2016

1. Drake - 6.0B

2. Rihanna - 3.2B

3. twenty one pilots - 2.6B

4. The Weeknd - 2.5B

5. Future - 2.4B

6. Kanye West - 2.4B

7. Justin Bieber - 2.4B

8. Kevin Gates - 2.0B

9. Beyoncè - 2.0B

10. Eminem - 1.9B

Taylor went from being N/A  and dragged for failing to adapt to the streaming era to being the most streamed female artist of all time real quick :1stplace:

But that's why I also posted the top 25 list, so you could see the rest of the people who made it as one of the top 25 most streamed artists of every respective year.

It includes everything. If you look at the top 25 lists I posted, they were split into audio, video and total streams. The "total on-demand streams" figures were the combination of both audio+video streams.

The fact that 2019 has the most with 3 in the Top 10... but it also has only 3 in the entire top 25 :mazen:

If Rihanna, Beyoncè and Adele drop (early enough) this year, they can make the 2021 top 10. Billie should make the top 10 as well since she's dropping an album this year.

He does well on audio streaming but he also pulls in a lot of streams from YouTube. On any given week, he's the most streamed artist on YouTube.
