Confide in me - WHEWWWWWWWWWWWW I don't like much of Kylie's 90s music BUT this one is an absolute stomp. Cinematic, creepy and with an atmosphere that no one Kylie song has.

My type - Meh... this sounded better in 2019

Honey - one of my fav albums of all time. every song is a 10

Anything - Um it's not terrible

Collide - Um it's terrible

Papi pacify - the song that got me into her its not the strongest here though

One minute man - this is unlistenable

Alone - this has always been one of my faves in HFK. really love the vibe of it and the sample works really well

All night - I would die for you beyoncé

Hung up - massive classic

Gonna love me - This mixtEPlbum has ZERO misses!!!!!!!! Love this

Juicy - a classic. its no hypnotize/big poppa, but it'll do

Drake - Take Care - an excellent song, its a shame you're gonna get penalized because this song is everything 

Mariah Carey - A No No - one of the best songs of 2018, amazing fun bop whew 

Lady Gaga - You And I - one of her best songs, I love it! 

Carly Rae Jepsen - All That - def in the holy trinity of that amazing album with boy problems and warm blood x, pop perfection

my type: yesssss super mega bop, love her and love this song

 

honey: you sent an absolute HIT. 

 

anything: hmm i see. the song itself is not bad i guess, its just really unremarkable. i also really hate the song that is sampled so it being kind of prominent annoys me

 

collide: unfortunately doesn’t do much for me, a bit on the basic side

 

papi pacify: i like it. i don’t love it, but i like the vibe and production (more than the song altogether hmm)

 

one minute man: nice, i love missy but its a strong round so i’m a bit unsure of where this ranks so far

 

alone: something about this always threw me off. I think its her vocals feeling a bit rough and not in an intentional way. feels kind of thrown together.

 

all night: with time i ended up liking it less than other tracks but this is the essential grand beyonce ballad/midtempo that has to be on every album… and does a good job of it! I love the sample sooo much, it grips me - you might be a potential winner here oop

 

hung up: incredible and hard to deny, the chorus is great

 

gonna love me: that’s alright, heavy competition so i’d need more of a standout

 

group b:

pynk: i feel like i don’t want to dislike this because i like janelle, but this song just doesn’t work for me. It’s way too repetitive and feels like it lacks a strong hit. i do like elements of it though

 

take care: stunning song, still one of his best - i love the use of the sample, and both artists work super well together here

 

a no no: forward thinking, but feels like what we would love from mariah. out of the three songs sent this round however this is my least favourite.

 

all that: obnoxious voice, i like the vibe i guess

 

you and i: didn’t know this had a sample. Btw is not an album i enjoy but i do like this track

 

Hold up: not a fan. This song is eclipsed by its fantastic video. as a song i find it annoying to listen to.

 

juicy: wait a MINUTE. This is such a great choice, absolute classic, still hits hard 

 

you ha ha ha - very nice, i love the aesthetic of this song. Very me :praiseshock:

 

fallen alien: not something i’d regularly listen to. There’s a cinematic feel to this and lots going on, which is cool, but as you know its a tough round

 

gtfo: all the mariah songs are good from this round but i have a special love for this one it always felt like the perfect introduction to the Caution album, real vibe

 

loyalty: legittttt. I saw that people found kendrick a bit divisive here but for me everything works super well. It knocks

Looked up the original version of this & it’s giving me adored-2000s-album-cut. I enjoyed it!

 

Leona Lewis & Avicii — Collide

She’s singing very well, but the song as a whole doesn’t do much for me. It doesn't punch like other tracks on this project. It's a shame 'cause Leona's fantastic in general.

 

FKA twigs — Papi Pacify

I’ve come across some stuff of hers I like but I wasn’t feeling this one as much. It’s still a bit interesting & dynamic so I’ll take that into account.

 

Missy Elliott f/ Ludacris — One Minute Man

She’s got a great singing voice on top of rapping. I’m liking the gem-throwback fusion feel of it.

 

Halsey — Alone

Hm… the concept of the song is nice, but it’s not quite for me. It’s not my least favorite so far though.

One of the Lemonade songs I don’t revisit much, but I prefer it to a number of songs in this group.
