Waiting for the airplay numbers from today before posting, but right now I have

TWIL 503

SOY 500

Humble 497

So close, but even if Bruno can't get his 7th NO.1 next week, he still holds the chance.

That's What I Like :duca:

Despacito :worship: this is coming in hot. I can see it going #1 at this rate.

I hope Something Just Like This gets a good video soon and can challenge for the top spot. But it's not looking too promising as of this moment. :dancehall:

I hope Say You Won't Let Go will eventually go top 10 if radio doesn't drop it. Such a beautiful song :heart2:

A possible 3 way battle for #1 next week between Kendrick, Ed, and Bruno. When is the last time we got 3 way battle like this?

Work/7 Years/Panda. Work won in the end.

Despacito is going like Crazy. If it gains more on radio its a contender for number one in a couple of weeks. @simmnfierzig have you included the airplay numbers from today?

Most exciting race for #1 in a while! I hope Bruno gets it.

Despacito is totally unexpected. :deadbanana: He's getting another #1 debut next era.

It's doing good, it has gained In points according to Simm from 287 to 310 despite holding steady in position.

its sales are strong, it's AirPlay gaining. It's still got lots of room to grow,wj Th or without a video.  Number one won't happen without one of course.  But the sing isn't dead like people claim in this thread,

i easily see see it outlasting many of the streaming songs above it in the top 10.

I don't think it's dead. I just don't know if it'll gain a lot more on streaming so it's stalling. But it should have great longevity.

I see it outlasting many songs as well. Just like Closer did with thyou #1 hits after it Starboy & Blackbeatles, & it'll probably pass Bad & Boujee too.

the Chainsmokers have great longevity. Don't Let Me Down had over 20 weeks in the top 10 and it outlasted many songs as well.

I wish Cold Water was about to snatch a week, it was so close to topping. And Let Me Love You had awesome longevity in the top 10. He's going to slay with his next lead single. I hope he doesn't pull and Adele and come off of a 3 #1 album to a 1 #1 album. Hope he can at least snatch two.

Also hoping Taylor can snatch with multiple #1's again. It's fun seeing second/third singles smash too.

It is kind of irrelevant how a song is heard. It is - is the song heard or not.  It doesn't have to be choice. You heard it.

i could tape up and force a million people to listen to a song, they've heard it, it's consumption.

while we can argue why s song gets played on radio, you can't really argue the stats and facts that it gets heard by far more people than a streaming song does.

1 person hearing a song by choice > 100 people being forced to listen to a song.
