Scars To Your Beautiful #4 on Pandora and #75 on Spotify. Not quite

That's random :rip:

Hopefully Carrie's next lead single gets some Pandora promo :cm:

I guess it's because if you put on the Today's Top Hits radio on Pandora, it would play hits from every genres. Sure, you can thumbs up and down a song, but some people just don't bother thumbing down the country songs they don't like.

I keep getting random country hits on my "electropop" station, just because it has a female vocalist, heavy bass or whatever

Really? I've never used Pandora. Seems flawed, but yeah I wouldn't thumbs down too many songs if I wasn't paying too much attention to it.

Oh damn.... How am I supposed to figure out the new formula and the Pandora numbers in the same week :rip:

Don't think I can post any predictions today.

Well we just need to try to get them to publish #s. That would be so huge

Goodbye to any country songs going top 20 anymore.

Luke Bryan and company better start telling their fans to get Spotify/Pandora accounts.

"Capping the Hot 100's top 10, Alessia Cara collects her second top 10, as "Scars to Your Beautiful" lifts 13-10. "Scars" keeps at No. 2 on Radio Songs (128 million, down 1 percent) and No. 25 on Digital Song Sales (22,000, down 11 percent) and bounds 37-25 on Streaming Songs (12.6 million)."

Oh my god. :deadbanana2:

I'm so happy for her!!!!

And yaaaaassss at Camila's second Top 5 hit. :clap3:

Side To Side isn't even top 100 on Pandora so I hate this inclusion lol. But honestly, I don't really see how it reflects what songs are popular.

Just got confirmation from someone who works at Next Big Sound that they don't plan to release exact numbers. I'm disappointed. But maybe we can try to push them constantly about it.

Closer needs to die, like yesterday. Terribly overrated and annoying song.

Does this formula change make streaming more or less important?

it reflects what popular because so many people in the US use it. I mean why use Tidal with ~1M subscribers but not Pandora with so much more subscribers.

There are over 78 million listeners on Pandora in the US. It makes total sense to do this.

Less

No. But with Pandora being included too, the streaing numbers are obviously higher. The points for a single stream are decreased though

But you don't even get to choose what you listen to like with other streaming platforms. I'm not doubting that the platform itself is popular.

But that's exactly what millions of music consumers want. Can't ignore their consumption. H100 made more accurate by factoring them in

There's no Sex With Me here so idk. Maybe this is the global chart?

This is showing Paris with ~3 million (#19) and Dancing On My Own "just under" 1.5m at #47. Perhaps with more little tidbits can figure out some average for p/ds.
