Here is a list of the 'Biggest 'Main Pop Girl' Pure Album Sellers In Europe Of The 2000’s' (for those who DEBUTED in the 2000’s or at least 1999) as of 2019,

courtesy of information and calculations provided by UK Mix.

1) *Britney Spears' "...Baby, One More Time" and Christina Aguilera's "Self-Titled" were released in 1999, however both albums sales & chart runs ran into 2000 so they're included.

Gaga being so high despite debuting a couple of years before streaming took off :jonny: she's probably top 5 with Chromatica numbers.

I couldn’t find “Chromatica” pure sales numbers anywhere unfortunately, just SEA/SPS numbers.

Your "Text Color" isn't showing on my grey font (because of a different theme I guess)

Pink being so high is not expected :clap3:

“Misundaztood” and “Funhouse” were huge in EU. :clap3:

I knew she's a huge touring act for some reasons

but this is the first time I truly have an idea how huge she is

I've seen users saying that Taylor's success wasn't the strongest in the EU, but really??

Kelly being above her tho :deadbanana2:

Also surprised Shakira is as low (even before Rih) when ATRLers make her out to be bigger than P!nk and Britney in Europe :ohwow:

Avril slaying her early 00s peers :clap3:

Swift has just NEVER been a force in Europe. At all, and it’s a fact. Half of her 3.5M sales stem from “1989”.

Similar to how several other Pop girls aren’t as big in SEA as she is.
:rip:

Lavigne SLAYING surprised me. “Let Go” and “TBDT” were so big here. :jonny2:

Hmm, I feel like Anastacia and Enya outsold a lot of these

I honestly can’t find Anastasia and Enya’s numbers for this century.

I tried looking on UKMix and Chartmasters but there’s nothing.

Neither of them have sold more than 15M in Europe this century though, that’s for sure - they’d probably sit in the Rihanna; Pink; Britney Spears region.

Both according to Chartmasters:

Enya: 3,580,000 + 1,910,000 + 1,050,000  + 540,000 = 7,080,000

Anastacia: "Before the internet age there were still various powerhouses in Europe that weren’t selling in the US. The most atypical of them was undoubtedly Anastacia who happens to be American. Her albums Not That Kind and Freak of Nature sold over 8 million units combined in Europe without ever entering the Top 200 in her native country.

After fighting against breast cancer she returned in 2004 with the LP Anastacia. Hitting #1 all over Europe and in Australia on the back of the mega hit Left Outside Alone, the album shipped 3,7 million units globally, once against without charting in the US. this album proved an impressive consistency for the artist with a third album in a row selling past 3 million copies in Europe alone"

at least 11 million :clap3:

Half of 3.5m = 1.75m for 1989. That's pretty insane for a 2014 album :dies:

Anti (Released 14 months after 1989) barely cracked 300k in the region so...

Y'all love to claim she didn't go global until Red but conveniently forget that when including her in pure sales list like this one
