My official statement I wrote last night:

 

 

Oh wow. Even my egotistical ass wasn’t expecting this, honestly. Especially when I saw the rankings start to come in. First off I want to congratulate @ughgabriel and @Aurora for their amazing success this season. Sam, I’ve been where you are (as have you) and I know how much it sucks to be so close to the top, but after your astounding successes this season all while staying so true to yourself I’d count this season as a smash for you. Gabe, I’ve known you’ve had this in you since Season 8. I’m not at all surprised you turned this into YOUR season. You were a clear front-runner from the beginning and you kept up the momentum. That in itself is amazing.

 

To shout out a few others, @ceremonials , you’ve become one of my closest ATRL friends this season and an enormous asset to me. There’s a reason you were one of the only the only people I trusted sending my songs to. You have an amazing talent and you were wrongfully snubbed being left behind in the semifinals. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for your crazy talents.

 

@8thPrince, thanks for keeping me on my toes. You really had me shook at various points throughout the season and always drove me to try just a little bit harder to one-up you. Your four number ones in a row was unprecedented, and it’s been wonderful talking with you in the judge chat.

 

@Corsola, I see huge things in the future for you. You had an amazing run in your debut season, and I see a lot of room for growth yet to come. You’re extremely young as well, and life’s many experiences can only further your success. I’ve also gotten to know you well over our various dub sessions, and I’m happy to add you to the long list of friends I’ve made in this game.

 

@Moonchild, although we’ve had our disagreements, it would be unfair to not shout you out as a valuable asset to me this season. You helped me with a few of my favorite entries and have been a good friend even through our fights.

 

@Temporal, thanks for being my biggest fan this season. I took a lot of inspiration from your style throughout the season, specifically in Stardust, and you’ve been an OK friend or whatever too. Although we had our disagreements, I’m glad @Cupid was here to get me in line and drive me to be the best writer I could be. The same goes for @Hug. You’ve been my champion since season five, and I was definitely too hard on you this season. You’re an incredibly gifted writer and musician as well. @swiftie13, you’ve been an amazing friend to me as well the past year or so, and although you didn’t judge me long (or at all this round!), I was glad to have your input. @Citrus, you disgrace to mankind, thanks for giving me not one but TWO #1s this season and various Grammy nominations. Texting you has been a kii and I hope you shrivel up and die in the bathtub one of these days.

 

And lastly, @keshaspearsxo, you’ve been the best host a bitch could ask for. You dealt with everything from ungrateful contestants to the entire site going offline for two weeks, and still managed to run a season more successful than the previous one for the first time in two years! Thanks for dealing with me and all my nagging, because in the end you only made me a better writer. We need to finish our Hunger Games reading sometime.

 

I wish I could write paragraphs for everyone, but I need to go out and celebrate. I’d just like to give a shoutout to @TYMPS, @Ventitonic, @Dylobs, @MattyTacos, @Auburn, @Gastrodonatella, @SaintWest, and anyone else I may have forgotten. I definitely tried my hardest every week and it's amazing to see it pay off in such a big way.

There were 190 but with how I counted them there it looks like less because of all the ties in the rankings. If you count them individually, Chrysalis is the 100th song. So, no, Dark Cousin and Isabella don't count.
