Since I couldn't find the general Britney Spears charts thread, I'm gonna post it here.

Global SEA increases per Chartmasters (from 4/28/19 to 8/16/21):

Oops…I Did It Again - +444k (402k to 846k)

Britney - +201k (235k to 436k)

Blackout - +354k (285k to 639k)

Circus - +429k (397k to 826k)

Femme Fatale - +279k (421k to 700k)

Britney Jean - +130k (283k to 413k)

Orphan - 754k (4/28/19)

 

Britney gained 2.993M CSPC units from her increases in streams (orphan track like Scream & Shout, My Only Wish, 3, My Prerogative, etc. are not included). Overall, she is at 7.115M SEA units in CSPC

So why is she only at 104.8M on the "Top Artists" list that also updates regularly? Does this 106.3M number include updated YouTube streams as well? Slay!

"It’s incredible how you guys can spot these things!

 

I checked the new album numbers and everything seemed to be fine. Both scripts are based on looking at the former Spotify streams total, the former artist/album EAS total, and get the new EAS total by doing new Spotify streams / old Spotify streams * old EAS total. It’s possible totals aren’t the same if the albums gaining the most streams were the ones with the largest extrapolation (if, for example, it had strong songs on YouTube), but the gap still seemed too big.

 

So I checked the artist conversion as albums looked fine to me. There, the ‘old Spotify streams’ was set at 3,991,000 by the date of the article. I looked into the file, the correct value was actually 3,091,000! This was creating a ratio downgraded by nearly 25%. I fixed that number, her accurate totals appear to be 8,736,000 EAS from streams and 106,825,000 career sales!"

Looks like Britney is actually at 106.8M CSPC units.
