omg :toofunny2:

I hope so too. She is still loved and has a lot of attention. A collab with a fan of hers could do a lot tbh.

After December, her team should focus solely on getting her the 20th #1. She's lost the 16 weeks record, it is time to give her the grand most #1's ever record.

Very unlikely she'll get it 100% solo. If Drake etc...add her that's prob. all it would take. Wonder why they haven't. With as much as she's famished for it and has always been super pro being 'featured', duets w/ red hot artists etc...would've thought it would happen by now. Almost no doubt she and her team WILL do whatever it takes. No shade but likely she'll get a few versus on a very popular younger singers song, gets credit and that'll do it. After AIWFC she'll be 5 #1s ahead of Rihanna. IF Rihanna shows up super strong she can easily tie or pass her within 5 years/2 albums. Rihanna clearly just isn't as chart consumed as Mariah or she easily would've made it happen already.

if mariah were as charts savy as you say she is, she would have surpassed the Beatles already.

I don't want to hurt Rihanna's management, but, damn, her label threw away at least 5 songs that were almost topped Billboard.

LOTB without MV, Birthday Cake without iTunes release, Run the World without airplay support, WHYB with late AF MV, DSTM with bad timing, Take Care with bad timing and late MV. Her label isn't really care about #1s.

We can say this about a lot of artists though. Mariah could at least have Without You at #1, When You Believe wasn't send to radio and it went #15, Shake It Off could go #1 if it wasn't blocked by Mariah herself, I Know What You Want could easily go #1, Loverboy and Endless love too.

Migrate, IKWYW (airplay release only in the US), Shake It Off are 3 more out of the gate that would've/should've been #1s. Either bad timing, bad judgement (not releasing a limited single until it hit #1 for IKWYW) and NOT releasing Migrate. I think even YDKWTD had #1 written all over it but we know the deal w/ that botched era. Madonna is exhibit A though of missed opportunities, awful timing w/ major releases and major F ups by her label (*not releasing ITG in the US, Beautiful Stranger and endless other songs). So Mariah and her team(s) over the years very rarely got it wrong. Rihanna is somewhere in between. Much closer to Mariah though in terms of timing and luck/ chart performance. Very few #2s though do agree songs like LOTB (if there was a video and less of a meh attitude to push it) def. could've peaked way higher. DSTM and a few others too.

Was this only released for the radios? :biblio: It went #3 and is even today getting big streaming numbers.
