Maybe it’s too much milking of this song and way too early?

I worry GP will get tired of this song before it even started.

absolutely NOT. The song will steadily climb the streaming charts. There is almost nothing that can stop it now. The ball is already rolling and it is increasing speed.

I think it will end up higher.

It was second most streamed song this week in US.

I assume she is stronger in sales than many others not only iTunes but vinyl and all that. Plus airplay seems doing well.

Ugh top 3-5 is coming this week. :date2:

Heading for 4xP in the UK (2,400,000) and 2xP in Germany (1,000,000).

Just to Hold You Once Again, When I Saw You, Music Box, Miss You Most, just to name a few :)

Her label better push some CD/vinyl singles delivery week after Christmas holidays to hold on AIWFCIY for next week after peak position.

Is it possible to stay on the chart after Christmas?

Anything is possible. Mistletoe by Justin Bieber ever did it.

I don't want see how she will disappear from the chart after Christmas week. 1–OUT, Dixie Chicks' 2003 US ban teas.

It doesn’t matter. 19th #1 is more important.
All pop girls disappear after 2-3 weeks it’s fine.

Are her chances really high for #1 this year?

I don't think it matters, the song is undoubtedly huge and is a million years old, it charts every year

Yes:

1. Powerful streams during xmas

2. perfect Xmas tracking week

3. Low competition as for now

4. strong radio

5. good sales on itunes

6. 20th December Mariah will release many special editions of the song so additional sales will be given

After December, her team should focus solely on getting her the 20th #1. She's lost the 16 weeks record, it is time to give her the grand most #1's ever record.

Mariah probably won't get another song on the hot 100 nevermind at number 1
