Lol what? Spotify numbers could be wrong too. Why does posting them publicly make a difference.

And for 40M he already needs massive AM numbers

Spotify doesn't have any interest in inflating their numbers since that would mean they would have to pay artists more money, while Apple music with their "exclusives" have already (I'm pretty sure about that) included payment upfront in their signed deal (so reporting higher numbers for obvious reasons does not cost them additional money).

Either way it's really great to see Kendrick debut so high on Hot 100! :clap3:

What sales numbers? Kendrick will be ahead in sales and streams, but not by much in either and Ed's lead in airplay is just massive

Yeah, I Know, but Humble's sales aren't enough to debut at #1 easily,  that's what i meant to say...

But I would like to be suprised with a #1 debut, with streams help...

So apparently Kendrick isn't releasing this week.

which means the chainsmokers are definitely back in the race for the BB 200.

Joey Badass should have #1 locked this week

She usually starts smashing on her 4th single so we'll see :cm:

How many singles has she released so far?

Isn't Humble's airplay almost non-existent?

Debuting at #1 seems far-fetched.

He's got around 18 million impressions from Urban and Rhythm. Those are the only two formats playing the song.

I doubt she has a chance. Mo Bounce was released so it could go viral and look how it ended.

She needs another Black Widow.

Expected.

The song is doing far better than expected, on streaming and sales though so, #3 debut seems fitting.

That's what I like is 100% rnb sjhsjsdc wyd.

These are the genres it has listed on wiki:

This whole discussion is embarrassing.

That's What I Like has an old school core with a modern production (that's probably why they call it pop). It has New Jack Swing influences with trap percussion.

You can make That's What I Like a traditional R&B song.

It's not "much more pop" than No Diggity for example.

ATRL's initial reaction will also tell if this album is mainly pop or r&b

:ahh:

And also dead at ATRL pretending like R&B is some avant-garde genre :skull:

That's what i like was doing 75k last week. No reason to believe it will do better than last. Rather it shall remain the same.

It's all part of the song.  The song is the issue, I won't nitpick okay parts and not okay parts.  It's the end result that counts, and it's insulting to women and tells women what to do.

Not to mention he could have made the same point without using bitch.  Which he intentionally did over and over and over. It's degrading,i the f you agree or not has no significance.

my daughter tried to warn me modern day feminists are a different breed, that they put up with all kinds of crap, should have lietened...

he used this word because "lil bitch" is Big Sean's catchphrase and Kendrick clearly was shading him in Humble. You literally made noise from nothing lol

After spotify numbers for Harry's new single I don't think It has power enough to debut at #1

What?

Of course it could also debut at #1 with 330k, 20M streams and 0 airplay or 420k sales and 0 streams and 0 airplay or 100k sales, 68M streams and 0 airplay or 0 sales, 0 streams and 500M airplay.

Don't think 40M airplay is that unrealistic considering the other numbers I put, but who knows. Don't see him debuting at #1 anyway

screaming 500M airplay

it's crazy you can debut/be at #1 solely off sales/streaming but you can't do it for airplay
