The thing is that regarding Janet's compilations, a number of the singles on those compilations have a video or radio edit versions that is different from the ones on their parent albums which muddies the whole double counting SPS songs. Like her Icon: Best Of Number Ones album have the single/video version of What Have You Done For Me Lately, All For You, Doesn't Really Matter and the shortened radio edit of Together Again while songs like Nasty & When I Think Of You are the exact same versions on the Control album. Half of the album have single/radio edit versions while half are the exact same versions found on their respective albums, so figuring out how to apply sales and certifications to it looks complicated when these kind of factors are involved. That 3x Platinum that was listed above, should be certified for a standard album. Therefore, Unplugged is eligible for 6x Platinum (as an EP). If Streisand were certified to capacity, she'd still be #1 with around 90 million certified, the woman has sold 100 million albums int he country.
