Great :clap3: Hopefully it can go #1 too, as it deserves it more than Me.

And after hitting #2 her songs drop like rocks, they aren't smashes just because her fanbase gives her a frontloaded peak.

This entire era is an underperformance.

This!! Reputation was such an underperformance that it moved more units than some girls peak :noparty:

What exactly are your criteria for an era underperforming, Ms. Cain?

It already has two #2 singles, making it one of only 3 female albums in the last 4 years to do so. Lover will sell more copies in its first week than any album's total since the beginning of the year. It's a given that it will be at the very least top 3 on the year-end Billboard 200. It will be attached to a tour that will certainly gross hundreds of millions from sold out stadium shows around the world.

If, to you, this is an underperforming era, then I guess 99% of the artists currently charting are TANKING hard?

I thought it was underperforming. I'm surprised, that's great for her, another number two. Well done :clap3:

It makes it an underperforming era cause the highly anticipated lead only spent one week more in the Top 10 than the 'bomb' CTTR.

We're trying to be fair here at ATRL.

The rest of your post is all future talk that we cannot base the era on, so as it stands now it's an underperformance for miss Swift. If you don't believe my word for it you can check any Taylor related thread from the past few months and you can see her own fanbase labeling it that aswell.

Martika's 'Toy Soldiers' blocked it, then Janet blocked 'Cherish' later that year with 'Miss You Much'.

Material Girl was blocked by REO Speedwagon's 'Can't Fight This Feeling'

Causing A Commotion was blocked by MJ's 'Bad' I believe.

'I remember' was blocked by All 4 1's 'I Swear', which also blocked 'Anytime Anyplace' by Janet :jonny5:

Lastly 'Frozen' was blocked by 'Too Close' by Next.

A little run down.
