Not this wasp level type of excuse.

People are streaming the album and skipping Love Drought to get to All Night

A valid “excuse”*

Both 6 Inch and All Night had the same promo (TIDAL X). One was a single and was performed on tour, the other had neither. Guess which one the GP wanted to stream more?

Both 6 inch and All Night were performed on tour. All Night was never sent to radio.

:ahh: at you hiding behind 6 INCH because your flop fave isn’t enough.

Love Drought had a video uploaded on YouTube, same a song All Night. Love Drought was performed at the Grammys in front of 30M people. Love Drought had Ingrid controversy. Love Drought is ahead on the tracklist. And yet All Night STOMPED on it like the dead horse it is :fan:

All Night was actually sent to radio.

Not that it was going to smash though.

How many times were each performed on tour?

And I’m not hiding behind 6 Inch, it’s always been one of my faves. We love an album track that STOMPS on singles. :)

Hold Up winning world wide as it should. What should have been one of the biggest summer smashes of 2016 is reborn.

Album will get a nice boost once Sorry demo appears on the New Music Friday.

Wow, look at the even spread between all of these potential hit singles.

Once Lem starts to settle I need someone from her team or spotify to properly curate the "this is Beyonce" playlist instead of just chucking all 40 songs from homecoming on there :rip: We need 6inch to sequence with Haunted & DHY with Ring the alarm.

if i'm not mistaken, taylor's entire discography went up at once so she had her numbers spread out across like 5 albums

Inconclusive since “1989” was her latest album at the time, plus she was touring or just got off of the highly successful world tour. :cm:

This isn’t shade, just for comparison purposes.

Stupid comparison as 1989 was a global phenomenon that sold millions and millions of physical records.

It's kinda the only comparison though. What other album was held from wide streaming release for an extended period of time after it's original release?

Amazing. :jonny: Imagine how many streams the album would've had by now if it was on Spotify since day one.

Truly!

Especially Formation which, with the Super Bowl and it's Saturday release (that's so early into the tracking week by Beyoncé's standards) would have had a #1 debut for sure, if not multiple more weeks after that.

How does streaming the film count for streams?

I listened to most of the whole film (it just came on) and wow, even with the poetry (ESPECIALLY WITH THE POETRY), it's such a beautiful experience.

What a luscious album full of meaning.

it's been said many times in Billboard's thread here on ATRL - if Formation video was public, not private, it would steal all Rihanna's Work weeks at 1 which was 9. maybe Rihanna would sneak 2 or 3, but Formation definately would be Beyonce's third biggest hit after Crazy in Love and Irreplaceable (both 10 weeks at 1)
