I'm such a big fan of miss Leon and I'm super hype for her debut hopefully out next year. Such a catchy single.. great production n vocals

Really surprised to see Dido releasing new music and the lead is so gorgeous. a grower and some of her best production to date.

There's only room for one indie fad on my list and Last Girl the standout from Soccer Mommy's debut "Clean" has to be the one

Such a fun single from Fickle Friends (only heard of them this year but a great band). Extremely catchy and  fun to sing along to.

I was shook to see this after her great debut last year. Such a refreshing and emotional song. The single cover is a hideous tho ff.

Kitten and Loona disappointed me this year.  I used to be a big fan :katie:

Now, Now,'s album was good for two days for me, they're just kinda too basic for me (in a bad way).  If you're gonna be basic you need to be bomastic and extra.

:chick3: omg someone who knows Kitten... I only got into them this year

now, now, santigold and khadja were boring. stir fry is a bop :yas~1:

Broods' Georgia Nott released an interesting solo debut this year and lead was definitely the standout for me. so different from their disco.

Such an interesting track. the production is soooo good and really different from what she's released in the past. the video slays too

Amazing! Alma has a great ear and this one of the more interesting (and kinda hated but who cares) pop lead singles this year. geeked for the album?

This finally got put on spotify so I'm putting it on my 2018 list. Kash Doll also released a mixtape this year but For Everybody remains her best  and most ambitious song. Love the "Belly" influence.

Nina Nesbitt released a string of great singles but the title track from her upcoming album is definitely my favorite. such a hopeful track

A really cute debut album. Love the variety of influences especially the punk-ish and throwback vibes . The writing was pretty good too, very personal and heartfelt. Deserves that Snail Mail payola

Serves: (You're Better) Than Ever, Shape Of My Hands, Paying Off The Happiness

Ray Blk is so talented and her release felt really ignored to me ff. A great singer and rapper. Her message on female empowerment is such a clear theme on this (and doesn't feel forced either) which I definitely love though her melodies were a bit generic. Really ended up growing on me. Not a single weak track on this.

Serves: Empress, Don't Beg,Girl Like Me

I was initially disappointed with this but it ended up being a grower for me. A lot more conceptual than their debut with a dark vibe in general. Like the soundtrack to a thriller. The mix of genres is especially interesting and I suddenly don't mind they scrapped their disco album (jk I still want that ****). Honestly it's gets better with every listen and I'm suddenly questioning why it's so low ff

Serves: All Love to Me, Limbo, Phantoms

I haven't really listened to Macy Gray outside her one big one song but this was surprisingly really good. The instrumentation was a lot and Macy still sounds as good as ever with her raspy voice. I had intially listened to the the Meghan Trainor reject single and expected everything else to be on that level but this was great and "sugar daddy" ended up being the worst song welp.

Serves: White man, Shinanigins, Cold World

Don't know who this is really or how I decided to check out her album but she's british and makes country music which is so interesting to me. Generally enjoyed this a lot (overplayed it as well tbh). Great vocals, melodies and the general vibe of this. I can't help just singing along to most of the record. She did that ?  oh and E.G.O. stands for Everybody Gets Off ?

Serves: Black Jeans, First Rate Heartbreak, E.G.O.
