ATRL Moderator Unoriginal Posted December 16, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted December 16, 2018 BIBO combining deep end and hard rain was an interesting choice when one is clearly superior Cardi really made the Finesse Remix huh
ATRL Moderator kelly-clarkson Posted December 16, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted December 16, 2018 Finesse
Eeveelution Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 lykke barely making it is what she deserves Border Girl is one of my faves on Cocoa Sugar
Blue Rose Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 Young Fathers and Lykke Li tracks deserve higher. The taste JUMPED OUT
Tom Vercetti Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 I'm familiar with a lot of these (Besides the last one) and don't wanna spoil much but I will say great choices for the artists selected.
ATRL Moderator Tsareena Posted December 16, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted December 16, 2018 deep end and hard rain finesse rmx is such a bop
ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted December 16, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted December 16, 2018 Livin Loose and Lake Zurich are bops! lol @ finesse being at the bottom of everyone's lists.
World Eater Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 I'm gonna pretend that George Clanton sing is here because of my payola Him, miss Chun-Li, Young Fathers and Bruno (and of course Cardi) all snapped
Vilppu Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 i thought hard rain and deep end were super underwhelming but they grew on me a bit when the album dropped, maybe because i kinda hated everything else so they just stood out as lesser evil yes finesse, breathe in breathe out and border girl yes snatchery

volition Posted December 19, 2018 Author Posted December 19, 2018 90. Slide - LPX i think this is the girl from asmr or something who i recognise because they had a free itunes track that i couldn’t seem to delete from my phone. it’s basically a punky kind of electropop song with super raw vocals that sound like she’s crying like damn ma is that serious. i like it though musica electroclash 89. American Guilt - Unknown Mortal Orchestra Maybe I have some punk characteristics about me, but I don't walk around calling myself punk. It's more punk to tell people you're not punk than to sit there and say that you are punk. And whatever; if you want to know what I think I am, I think I’m just a rock chick. I like to rock out. I like to throw **** around. I like to go nuts. I like to scream. I like to holler. I like to break things. I like to yell. I like to get my anger out. musica garage rock 88. Slow Dancing in the Dark - Joji this guys aesthetic lowkey makes me feel sick which is kinda the worst feeling for me when listening to music, however this is the best song i think he has released and it’s actually really nice to listen to if i ignore the sickness. musica alternative r&b 87. Lotus - Gang Gang Dance i totally get the musica elevator vibes that everyone keeps talking about, except this sounds really focused and the vocals fit super well. i think it’s a very well-constructed and lovely sounding neo-psych song, and it’s deeply satisfying when it starts to get more rhythmic in the second half. musica neo-psychedelica 86. RENIEGO - Cap.5: Lamento - ROSALÍA honestly **** her for adding all the ‘cap #’ things and screwing with my scrobbles. anyway the whole alt&b touches across her album were kinda tame so i prefer this cut because i’m a sucker for all her beautiful spazzy flamenco wailing. musica flamenco nuevo 85. We Appreciate Power (feat. HANA) - Grimes i hate the lyrics of this track so much and i’m not a fan of some of the cheap sounding industrial parts but i do enjoy enough of this overall to let it have a place on the list. musica electro-industrial 84. Charcoal Baby - Blood Orange dev hynes is a talented guy but this album didn’t do much for me. however this is a standout track and it reminds me of some of his earlier stuff, especially in that gorgeous outro. musica sophisto-pop 83. If You Really Love Nothing - Interpol interpol remain consistently disappointing since their glory days, probably because they keep trying to repeat themselves. however this is the best song from their newest album. musica post-punk revival 82. QYURRYUS - The Voidz on the other hand, the dude from the strokes decided to do something completely different and his album turned out to be much more of a success. this track is pretty short, it’s some weird glitchy guitary synthpop but i love it. musica art pop 81. Bartier Carti - Cardi B yeah whatever this is a bigger banger than even i like it so excuse me please. musica trap rap

I like to throw **** around. I like to go nuts. I like to scream. I like to holler. I like to break things. I like to yell. I like to get my anger out. Solid set! Reniego wouldn't be my pick (and I feel like Que No Salga La Luna does what you Reniego better based off your comment) but Rosalia can't do no wrong! Charcoal Baby and QYURRYUS slay and yes Bartier Carti is one of the best (if not the best) banger on IoP (BC>>BY; I said what I said )
Vilppu Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 i don't like the rosalia album nearly as much as everyone else seems to but this song is really good, probably my favourite honestly the beyond awful grimes lyrics is part of why i like it so much n bartier cardi/american guilt/lotus are v good picks too
Blue Rose Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Unknown Mortal Orchestra The new Grimes song will protmake more sense in the context of the album. Charcoal Baby is nice.
mokitsu Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 reniego la nueva bjork y reina de spaña snapped
ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted December 19, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted December 19, 2018 Not ms mr being asmr I want to like her but I listened to one song and it didn't resonate with my spirit so I gave up. Lotus, Charcoal Baby, Bartier Cardi (really underrated for her!), WAP, Reniego, American Guilt are all good! Why don't you like the WAP lyrics? I do like them but also I get that after her whole drama this year the concept of robot overlords is a little uncomfortable.
ATRL Moderator Unoriginal Posted December 19, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted December 19, 2018 the 1-2-3 rosalia-grimes-blood orange punch charcoal baby collecting all the acclaim whilst the album is paid dust tho
Navyofbadgals Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 this last update made several points American Guilt makes me feel things too
Beyonnaise Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Bartier Cardi is her best song, it goes so hard The WAP lyrics are a bit on the nose but thematically they fit really well so I'm conflicted
Tom Vercetti Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 The early 2018 days of me slightly overplaying American Guilt Can't get into anything Joji/Pink Guy related. There's just something about him that rubs me the wrong way. WAP's strong point is definitely production. Lamento is dramatic but that's what makes it stand out from the rest I suppose.
Eeveelution Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 That was one of my last faves from Rosalia honestly. We Appreciate Power made some points though.
World Eater Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 "the girl from asmr" fdjndfj MS MR were the reason I started paying attention to ATRL, I remember stalking the album thread for their debut .t hide Points were made with American Guilt, Slow Dancing in the Dark (which was...actually good to my surprise), Lotus, RENIEGO, WAP and Charcoal Baby
