i thought hard rain and deep end were super underwhelming but they grew on me a bit when the album dropped, maybe because i kinda hated everything else so they just stood out as lesser evil

I think the positions for the majority of these songs are very accurate (deep end/hard rain, Livin' Loose, Finesse (Remix))

Though I haven't ranked Lake Zurich on my list, it's one of my favorite songs on the album. A bop of an instrumental  (and TNN was a big improvement on Humanz lbr )

i agree that it was, i said a downward spiral but i do agree

i think this is the girl from asmr or something who i recognise because they had a free itunes track that i couldn’t seem to delete from my phone. it’s basically a punky kind of electropop song with super raw vocals that sound like she’s crying like damn ma is that serious. i like it though

this guys aesthetic lowkey makes me feel sick which is kinda the worst feeling for me when listening to music, however this is the best song i think he has released and it’s actually really nice to listen to if i ignore the sickness.

i totally get the musica elevator vibes that everyone keeps talking about, except this sounds really focused and the vocals fit super well. i think it’s a very well-constructed and lovely sounding neo-psych song, and it’s deeply satisfying when it starts to get more rhythmic in the second half.

86. RENIEGO - Cap.5: Lamento - ROSALÍA

honestly **** her for adding all the ‘cap #’ things and screwing with my scrobbles. anyway the whole alt&b touches across her album were kinda tame so i prefer this cut because i’m a sucker for all her beautiful spazzy flamenco wailing.

85. We Appreciate Power (feat. HANA) - Grimes 

i hate the lyrics of this track so much and i’m not a fan of some of the cheap sounding industrial parts but i do enjoy enough of this overall to let it have a place on the list.

dev hynes is a talented guy but this album didn’t do much for me. however this is a standout track and it reminds me of some of his earlier stuff, especially in that gorgeous outro.

interpol remain consistently disappointing since their glory days, probably because they keep trying to repeat themselves. however this is the best song from their newest album.

on the other hand, the dude from the strokes decided to do something completely different and his album turned out to be much more of a success. this track is pretty short, it’s some weird glitchy guitary synthpop but i love it.

Solid set! Reniego wouldn't be my pick (and I feel like Que No Salga La Luna does what you Reniego better based off your comment) but Rosalia can't do no wrong! 

Charcoal Baby and QYURRYUS slay and yes Bartier Carti is one of the best (if not the best) banger on IoP

Not ms mr being asmr  I want to like her but I listened to one song and it didn't resonate with my spirit so I gave up.

Lotus, Charcoal Baby, Bartier Cardi (really underrated for her!), WAP, Reniego, American Guilt are all good!

 

Why don't you like the WAP lyrics?  I do like them but also I get that after her whole drama this year the concept of robot overlords is a little uncomfortable.
