Cole & Kendrick are pretty much on the same level stop acting like they are even close to drake :bibliahh:even post Malone who is bigger than both on streaming couldn’t get more than 3

Kendrick is bigger than J.Cole...that isn't up for debate

If you have a job making 80000 a year, then suddenly everyone is making 25000 do you cheer how everything was saved by McDonald’s hiring?

nobody is denying stresming is increasing recnue.  The issue is the damage thst stresming is doing eith it’s pay rates.

and stresming has certainly wrecked the charts, making sixty years of history useless.

people should be cheering Drake current chart success. It’s quite amazing for the times. But those same people cheering need to acknowledge that the records he broke aren’t really comparable.

What kind of analogy?

DAMN: 603k

Scorpion: 732k

DAMN: one #1 hit, 3 top 15 hits (total)

Scorpion: 2 #1 hits, 7 top 10 hits (so far)

How did Kendrick win?

Also I think like +20 new Drake songs debuted above it, so not surprised one bit.

Yes, my income assumed you lost your job and therefore had zero income.

I still see no reason to cheer on a system that pays ****, simply because,  well it pays.

as for the charts and history. This whole accuracy thing is overrated.  Charts aren’t about accuracy. They are about selling and promoting artists.  Accuracy in many ways hinders that.

Today’s fans of charts nowadays take them far too seriously.  They were meant to be fun, while providing the industry a marketing tool.

The charts are about popularity according to Billboard's own words. If you want a chart that's inaccurate but fun you can make that yourself. You don't need Billboard for that.

as for the charts and history. The whole history thing is overrated. Accuracy >>> History. Fans of todays charts want  accuracy. That's what is fun for them accuracy.

I guess the formula change kept Nonstop from going #1

Uh. The formula change made Nonstop so close to begin with

With the old formula Nice For What would have comfortably been #1
