Like majority of people who listen to music in Asia would listen to K-pop. Asia America won't be much different. Sooner or later there will be an act that breakthrough to western market. just don't understand why it's BTS. Maybe, but every shot of fans have shown a diverse group with a lot of poc in general. It shouldn't be hard to understand. Even if you don't like their music, they have some of the best MVs, concepts, performances and charisma. They also write honest music about themselves. It's the whole package

Gossip_Boy Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 Omg I wasn't expecting their numbers to be anywhere near this big, I'm shocked. I was thinking around 65-70k at best A #1 album would be fantastic but I'm happy regardless, because they exceeded my expectations by A LOT.

Aciid Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 It really doesn't matter if they don't snatch the number 1. This is legendary for kpop and it's amazing to see

Roxas Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 COME THROUGH BTS. I'm so ready to see this site melt down when they get #1 and some of their faves can't even do that.

If they hit #1 it will be such a major mile-stone; nobody is gonna care if they sell 5K the following week. Plus, Asian fans are used to the 90% 2nd week drop. It's very common in Japan & Korea. It's not gonna upset the Army. Finally, their WW opening week might outperform some ATRL faves entire album run... Plus, their tour is selling out like hot cakes. So, we ain't tripping about that.
