It's time to let go of DWaS and push Abracadabra. There's no reason for DWaS to get a triple digit gain and Abracadabra a triple digit loss. FTFY. You Right was such a bad single choice, and it almost ruined the album. PH would have 4 pop #1's if GIIY was the 2nd single, instead of You Right. I see your vision with that one! I think Need to Smash should've been the official second single. But we also need to remember Planet Her was a weird slow burn era. She didn't become pop radio candy until the end of that year. I remember KMM initially had a very slow accent and it looked like NTK was only going to peak at #5 until it soared to #1 after Christmas

I agree it's been enough of DWAS, so tired of it, but regarding Abra, it's just a one-day thing, it received more spins than usual last week due to the album deal. 2
Julia Fox Posted March 15 Posted March 15 The Lizzo payola Well at least the song is good Come on Bed Chem

LostInStereo100 Posted March 15 Posted March 15 yeah this literally does not need a radio deal. Assuming country actually does pick this up a little bit, this will be her biggest radio hit of all time.
hausofbryan Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Abracadabra will resume its march to the Top 10 tomorrow, don't worry liddos.
fridayteenage Posted March 15 Posted March 15 (edited) feels like if country radio still hates Kacey, they won't be into chappell even mega-smash I remember everything where she was the feature, they refused to let into the top half of the chart Edited March 15 by fridayteenage

The song was very slow & quiet, unlike other songs Country/Pop/Rock songs that have streamed well. This made the song less radio friendly. Also, he's made the decision to demand his label intentionally NOT promote his songs to ANY format. EDIT: WZZK is actually here in Birmingham. They were conservative when I was younger but quite adventurous now. They played Aaron Lewis, Adele & Shaboozey very early on. Also, do weather impacts show up on daily MB AI reports? The SE US is experiencing a tornado outbreak, meaning instead of music radio stations will broadcast radio reports.
Ger Posted March 16 Posted March 16 The chokehold Kendrick has on the Rhythmic format is insane. It's been: tv off (3 weeks) → luther → 30 for 30 → tv off and all 3 still occupy the Top 3 right now. He also topped the chart in January with "squabble up" for 2 weeks.
pride4jc1222 Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Moonlit Floor, Akon's Beautiful Day, and Forever Young are going recurrent tonight. Pretty weird how DWaS is suddenly gaining now. Why now, and not last week during album release, when it had a chance for a return to #1 (on both Pop and the Hot 100)?
