The Sabrina overexposure is truly insane, I don't think any artist has experienced this level of "overplay" ever before on Pop radio; what it is more surprising is that the overall amount of spins given to her keeps growing every day. Like how the hell are these stations doing :deadbanana2:

I mean, sure Ari, Doja and Harry had 3 songs in the Top 10 at the same time, but there was no 4th single also coming at the same time. :skull:

Doja had a 4th single in Woman, which believe it or not, ended up being the only song off Planet Her to reach 52 weeks.

Yes, but at the time it started coming, YR and KMM had already slowed down considerably (they were recurrent back then). I was refering to the share of spins at the same time given to an artist.

Sabrina having almost 40k spins on POP radio right now is crazy :skull: Z100 playing her 47 times in a single day... you gotta be ******* joking :rip:

KIIS played her 59 times yesterday, 3 of her songs are on Power right now.

Looks like there was a recalibration this morning, as all of the top songs, except 360 and Belong Together gained, and some with very large positive updates.

Belong Together will go recurrent, while Carry You Home and Cowgirls should be purged. Houdini and the boy is mine are also scheduled to go recurrent this week, but who the heck knows what will happen if these songs have a positive bullet on Sunday. Pop radio really is that broken, lol.

I assume the unusual updates have to do with: (1) New radio stations being added to the format (spins increase) and (2) Re-calibration of the audience, which could have to do with what they announced a couple of weeks ago, Nielsen was going to adjust the way audiences are measured: "a 10% increase in listening levels is expected from an anticipated change in Nielsen's listening threshold that will grant quarter-hour listening credits based on three minutes of monitored PPM listening, not five."

Not sure about the later, because I thought the change was going to occur next year, maybe it already played effect, don't know.

"Disease" seems to have a radio deal, already played 6 times on Z100.

:coffee2:  She is so popular right now and the GP is eating her up so now would be a good time to latch onto a good movie role.  The more exposure the better.   That is something Taylor could never do.

So the listeners didn't increase but they're just changing the way they calculate in a way that it catches more listeners?

Yes, it will lowkey "inflate" the numbers, because it will include people tunning to a station for only 3 minutes, instead of a minimum of 5. Not a huge, difference, though.

Good, it needed to be Re-calibrated. During covid it was lowered as less people were driving, now that we've gone back to working in-office, there's more cars on the road and more people tuning into radio than 3 years ago.

Love Somebody ties 2nd highest entry on BBs Country Airplay Chart #13 & he wasn't going for Country adds til this week lol? I guess we'll see what happens next week. LS just doesn't give me Last Night vibes though & the discount to get the #1 debut as well as lack of crossover activity to  this  point is a concerning sign. But things could change. How did Fortnight drop that bad? That's Country type decline!

Airplay is oversaturated with her songs at the moment. It's just semi-Rihanna 2010–2011 situation.

lol, people need to let go of the idea. Sabrina isn't going to do any more promo for Espresso, when her 3rd and 4th singles are actively being promoted. If there is a remix, it will be for Taste or Bed Chem.

Why is a dancepop song #1 on country radio? :deadbanana2: Just because Kane is a country singer doesn't make that song country.

If we can have country songs ruining the Pop charts, why can't we get the opposite?
