early callouts aren't great. which is strange to me. GP loves a doja song about being a Devil, but then hates a Bruno song. sometimes callouts are opposite of what I expect from American radio listeners

Chappell about to have two songs in the top 5 at the same time  

 

HTG will easily ride out the rest of Autumn which is perfect since it's such an old song and is a good filler single for now considering it has had legs for these past 6 months and is now starting to get really big on radio finally. 
 

After Christmas freeze is over, the new Chappell era will begin since the second album is half done already.

Do we have a year to date radio spins chart for Pop? I'm curious to see how high GLB is on there. I feel like it has to be top 50 on there already or even higher and it still hasn't even peaked yet  

 

Considering it's been climbing for almost 6 full months on Pop radio  I remember KIIS playing it already back in early April and now it's on heavy rotation and number one on Pop radio as we approach October. What a mega smash and streaming juggernaut in the US.

In spring 2021, Levitating, Save Your Tears, and Heat Waves had some of the worst early callout scores ever. They all had strong streaming to overcome this and become some of the longest-running songs ever on the Hot 100. As long as DWaS maintains its strong streaming, the early callout scores won't matter in the end.

 

Also, Paint the Town Red had the Walk On By sample, which may explain why it resonated with the GP. Don't forget this was big at its peak, it was neck and neck with Cruel Summer at its peak. The one I don't really understand is Lose Control. That one should have never been as big a hit as PTTR and CS.

This is beyond ridiculous. I mean, these artists have newer songs out and climbing on their formats. I'm okay with them playing songs like Taste, Pour Me a Drink, and Lies Lies Lies, but Espresso and IHSH peaked on radio months ago and need to go sooner rather than later.
